Daily, but i live in mexico. Also have seen it a lot of times in LA, mostly by hispanics and blacks. Have personally not seen it in japan, but the concept exists, its called Nanpa, seen interviews with girls having mixed reactions about it but then again thats probably the reaction everywhere.

I would think that its probably not normal in india, saudi arabia and some other places.

I remember when i went to anaheim, and was outside disneyland waiting for the bus, a hispanic old man tried to pick up a white woman there, in front of us. I can tell she was flattered and then he just said to the other people in spanish something like "well, you lose nothing trying" doing something like this ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

I've seen it MANY times in DC and NYC, including malls, festivals, coffeehouses, supermarkets, and the metro (train). And, not just my clients and friends. You just have to know what to look for, since when a guy is good at pickup (day or night), the approach often looks like he knew the girl(s) already.

I've also seen many guys game hired guns during the day.

Yes. I live in central London. The main shopping street is called Oxford Street, and I have frequently seen guys cold approach there as that street is where all newbie daygamers go to practice. A few years back on a sunny day you'd see up to half a dozen guys approaching there. Not so much any more. Daygame is very rare, though.

Never seen any guy just start a conversation with a random girl ever. Neither on the street nor on public transport or at uni or wherever. That's why I'm so skeptical about the whole "day game" stuff...
