How many guys have a list of girls they wanna bang in their social circle/neighbourhood?

Feel like this is a good and bad thing.
Arguments for both sides:

-PRO: I feel universal manifestation happens when you specify what you want (girls on your list)

-CON: You can get attached to your list which gives you an air of desperation.

Any advice on how to regulate this and make sure it's something that helps you? Is it even necessary? How do guys go about trying to pick up without having targets/hitlist?
