Do whatever you want. Seems you are keeping up a fake persona for this girl if you miss her too but don't tell her.
Look dude in reality, the fact that you're scared of telling her you miss her is beta. Being alpha is doing what YOU want, if you miss her tell her. If she leaves you for that or thinks less of you, good riddance.

Man everything in life is contextual, we don’t know the details of your relationship. Some girls I would say “It was forever or never” for the emotional push, some I would say “I kind of miss me too” to joke around, some I would say “Got some big news” then change the subject just to draw her in, some I would just say “So chill w me.” There’s literally nothing anyone can tell you without knowing where she’s coming from when she texted you that.

There's nothing wrong with missing her, in general or saying that's the case, if it's true.

But if you NEED her too much, that could mean you are going to smother her. Figuring out where this line is though, is sometimes not easy.

But in general, you should have your own life, independent of her, that she supplements. She shouldn't be your whole world.
