You put yourself in the friend zone by trying to establish comfort before attraction. She is more interested in you as a friend because that's what you are presenting her. Most guys try to get a woman to be comfortable with him. But creating attraction is taking a risk and sexual tension is uncomfortable to some degree.

Create attraction first. You can be friends later.

You need to demonstrate intent earlier in your interactions with women you meet, as in demonstrate somehow that you're interested sexually and not just being a friendly person.

If you can build comfort that's a good thing regardless, but you have to make a MOVE!

The "friend zone" is simply what happens when a girl is not attracted to a man, but the man actively chases the girl.

The girl is too afraid to reject the man bluntly, and the man is not socially aware enough to understand that he is wasting his time. It is incredible to see how many guys will do this for incredible lengths of time.

Do this thought experiment:

Imagine the most attractive guy possible. Say, I don't know, a model like Nick Bateman, or Ryan Gosling or whatever. Do you think he would get friendzoned if he didn't "escalate" quickly enough?

You might not be bad looking, but you might be trying to get with girls who your looks aren't up to their standards - you might have a chance at them if you have something more on offer, like high social status or money - but you are delusional if you believe that this comes down to your behavior - it does not.

How tall are you? Are you fit? Low body fat percentage? Exactly how high status and "cool" are you? Or more importantly, how high status do you appear to the women you meet?

Lets assume that you aren't that fit, or that fashionable, or that high status. You can try to change these things, or lower your standards. You keep getting friendzoned not because you lack some specific moves or phrases to say. You are simply not deemed attractive enough because of your appearance or status.

What kinds of girls are you trying to attract? If you are going for slim, fit, beautiful women, I can guarantee you that they are looking for slim, fit, beautiful men. Who are also tall and muscular. If you are not tall, and not beautiful, the least you can do is become fit and muscular. Then you can make up for the lack of beauty and height with appearing high status - networking, high paying career and so on.

How much do you care about the "game" of the girls you are approaching? Essentially zero right, its all about how hot they are. And that works both ways. Except girls care a lot more about social status than we do. So we can at least make up for a lack of looks with that. But really, the easiest is to put your efforts into grooming, dieting and training. You have to look your best.

If you run more mysterymethod/indirect game, I guess this is always the risk. Hiding intent can make her think that you are not into her, or that you are scared, I guess

If you already over did the comfort level, what you need to do it tone it down gradually. Become less available through more involvements in activities in your life.

You tease a bit then return back to how you are, keep doing it but little by little. If she calls you out for it, it means you are over doing it and need to tone it down.
