The only good way to pull back:

involve her with emotionally stimulating high value stories about yourself. Keep them genuine.
stay genuinely grounded in your non-reactive masculine frame. Assert like a man who knows his tremendous self worth(which you should anyway in life).
don’t seek anyone’s validation. And don’t explain yourself when tested.
validate her specialness
pull back - literally be busy and not very available over texts and calls.
with pulling back - unpredictability is your friend. They should never be able to guess your response.
Lead her emotions like a man. Keep it surprising. Sometimes validate, other times give an undecipherable response.
if you can, without being emotionally reactive - create some drama. Act like you did not like what she said.

Repeat this for increasing spirals of romantic tension.

I do this at work, like “planting the seed” by initiating a few convos with a colleague I’m attracted to but next time I see her (we see each other on daily basis) I just don’t talk to her, I intentionally talk to other women or be busy with other stuff. Not faking, but for real. “Don’t to be too available” is the mindset behind it. Or whenever the convo gets a bit more intense in a good way, I just cut it off by saying I gotta go and “talk to you later.” 8 out of 10 times she’s the one who comes to me to start a convo and ends up asking for my number.

I remember the last one I slept with, one day I came to her because I was planning to get lunch for me and other colleagues and asked her what she wanted, then I asked for her money. She laughed and shocked she thought I was gonna buy it for her. I was like “eerrr no, why would I do that?” in a playful tone. She goes “other guys always buy me food.” I looked at her smiling and said “Hmmm… I’m not ‘other guys’” then started laughing and shaking my head before leaving her in disbelief. A week after that, I slept with her. You gotta be assertive and don’t hesitate saying no to women.

Saying no is always more powerful in messing with people’s head than saying yes. If a guy who’s not familiar with approaching women can’t handle a rejection, imagine a hot woman who always hears YES from all guys, it’s much worse.

You need legit grounds to pull back. Girls instantly sense if you are pulling back as a tactic, and depending how her emotions are at the time, she may not buy it and you wont hear from her again.

Many p.u.a.s talk about using false time constraints to pull back after starting a conversation, but that is bullshit. Men ain't supposed to lie, they should leverage the truth even if it needs to be stretched.

Use true time constraints. You should always have something constructive to do anyway.
