I submit that I have never gotten far with a woman - certainly never all the way - without first having made her laugh. A lot. I can’t even conceive of what a date would look like without humour being dished out in high quantities (I can unfortunately recall what it looks like when she is not receptive to any of my attempts at being funny).

I don’t try to play the role of a court clown, and the humour is just one side of my personality but it feels like a natural expression.
