First off you're focusing on the wrong thing. The only important thing about texting is setting up dates. That's all that matters. There's nothing you want to say on phone that isn't better said in person. Plus she'll take you more seriously for setting up a date.

It all comes down to intent and purpose. If you're just texting to text, that doesn't go well because its not going anywhere. And like conversations in real life you gotta match the energy theyre putting. They take long to respond, you take long to respond. "What" to talk about depends what youre doing. Imagine a random stranger just starting talking you, youd be asking why theyre talking to me and what they want. Its the same for girls, if youre messaging out of the blue be clear that youre interested and if they keep responding then keep it going, if not youre just wasting your time. Don't overthink it.

"they always reply but it end there" means you're sending messages that are easy to respond to but don't create any reason for her to keep talking. you're probably asking questions or making statements that she can answer in one word. the fix isn't being more interesting or trying harder. it's learning to write messages that pull her into a conversation she actually wants to be in. that means saying things that make her curious, make her laugh, or make her want to react. if your texts read like a polite interview she's going to give you polite one-word answers and move on to the next guy who made her feel something.
