Introduction

An attractive, confident voice can totally change your life, making you more appealing to whoever you're dating, impacting how much people respect your ideas and follow your leadership, even determining how funny people think you are. It completely shapes how people respond to you.

During my journey with women, I have learned how to properly express myself. My voice used to be higher pitched, I was monotone and used to mumble quite a bit. Many students that knew me from years ago or seen my old videos always asked how I developed my voice

We have all heard about studies showing your body language and tone of voice make up most of your communication, yet it is often the forgotten part of seduction.

It is responsible for the emotional rollercoaster you are able to put the girl through. I can’t tell you how many times I have seen students implement an almost perfect verbal game, have the best structure, and know the exact right thing to say yet it never works. And that’s because their tonality and expression are completely off.

And when they master it, they can have girls hanging on their every word, even if they run out of things to say or don’t know exactly what to do next, they can verbally captivate the girl understanding the principles I’m about to share with you.

Firstly it’s important to realize that your vocal cords are fully developed you cant magically have a complete change in the range of tone that you have now. However, even though you are stuck with that vocal instrument which is your voice, you can still learn to play it in an optimal way.

The first thing I want to look at is the Vocal projection. The ability to speak to a girl with richness and strength to your voice. This will ensure she sees you as confident but also so you can speak in loud club environments without destroying your voice.

Posture

I want to start with posture. If we think of your voice as an instrument we need all the working parts to be open and relaxed in order to create as much projection and resonance as possible. Usually, the mistake students are making is either;

1) Slouched over and obstructed. If you think about your windpipe like the flow of water through a hose, once you bend and kink it, the water and in this case air will not freely flow through, and less air means a weaker voice

2) The second common issue is that students over-correct. They become stiff and tight as they try to stand as tall as possible.

The first thing I want you to do is to start loosening up your body and be very self-aware and conscious of how you feel. You can begin by having your body constricted and bound up. Then start by releasing your neck and head.

Swivel and relax your neck from side to side. Your neck should not be overly tight and supporting your neck. People have a tendency to hold their heads with their neck, let it sit streamline on top of your neck muscles, avoid clenching instead, imagine your head just balancing on the top of your neck. You can yawn to relax your throat, let your head stretch back, and then come forward to a neutral position with your chin parallel to the ground.

Next, let’s focus on our chest. I want your chest to be like an accordion, think about opening it up 360 degrees. Lift your hands to the ceiling and reach up take a deep breath and then breathe out relaxing your hands to your side.

Now our shoulders should be floating on top of your ribcage.

Pull them forward, back and open up your palms, up to your ears, and breathe out why you let them down and bring your palms back to neutral.

From here we move down to our hips, we want them to be neutral. Find the middle ground by rotating your hips forward and back until they are in line with the rest of your body.

Imagine there is a string running through the middle of your body up to the center of your head just tugging you up ever so slightly. Your body should be lengthened and aligned, but relaxed and without tension. Be sure not to overly curve your spine, it shouldn’t feel like you are holding yourself up or using force, use the power that comes from the ground through your feet.

Breathing

Now that we have good posture and our instrument is open to optimal flow and resonance let’s think about our breathing. Our breath is quite simply the fuel to our voice.

Without air, there is no sound. You can try right now, take a deep exhale and then try to say something, it’s almost impossible.
Now I’m sure you have all heard to speak from your diaphragm, and it can be a little bit confusing. Instead, I like to think about it as simply breathing from your diaphragm. This is important as it allows you to breathe in quite a lot more volume and fill up your lungs. This also allows a lot more air to freely travel through and create a better vocal projection.

To practice, simply place a hand over your chest and a hand over your abdomen. As you breathe and speak you should keep your chest relaxed and open and you should feel your lower hand on your belly moving in and out. Make sure it is relaxed.

To make sure you hold the frame of your chest you can practice writing on a mirror. The same way you would blow air, practice this while holding the form of your chest.

Remove stress

On the last two points, it’s important we remove stress. First deal with thoughts or anxieties you might have, meditate or take a few deep breathes before approaching women. Stress will shorten your breathing and tighten your posture.

Resonance

A term that describes where the voice is vibrating. You can resonate if your chest, mouth hard palate, soft palate, nasal cavity, and head. It will produce different sounds and projections.

The way I like the think about it is a wine glass when you take your finger and vibrate the surface and make a noise. Now when you block that vibration the noise stops or is reduced.

We have to learn to open up our face in a way to allow that vibration and magnify our voice. Some of us tend to speak in the back of our mouth or speak where it’s in our throat. To project your voice you want your instrument to work for you, the more you can get it vibrating through the right parts the louder and more projected it will be sold without having to put a strain on your vocal folds. Resonating through our β€˜mask’ the front part of our face will produce a sound that carries and is pleasing to the ear.

Now we will talk later about altering this to either our throat or heads in order to bring out certain emotions, but as a baseline, we will aim for the mask.

To do this you can hum and make a vibrating noise and feel where the vibration and resonance are occurring. Then you want to be able to open up your mouth and have it vibrate across the front of your mouth. Now think about humming and bringing it forward, think about bouncing it off the top of your palette. If you notice it is a little nasally make sure to focus on opening up your mouth and your palette. The same action when you swallow, yarm or sharply inhale when your close the air to your nose is what you want to emulate.

Twang

This is how to make your voice more efficient and piercing which is especially important in the club. Here we want to use the aryepiglottic sphincter or your AES. This essentially tightens and compresses the air hitting your mouth. Again think about it like a hose. You are tightening the nozzle of the hose to use the same amount of water, but to shoot a lot further.

We can practice by overdoing these sounds. Think about a baby crying or nelson from the Simpsons. β€œHee hee”

I tend to do this very naturally with β€œOii”

Now, these are not very pleasant sounds, but you can see how effortless and effective they can be at projecting sound.

We can take this principle and add it into our normal speaking tone. You can take these noises and start to lower the tone.

Hee hee

That way we can create an attractive sound that carries. For me personally what helps is thinking about bouncing my voice over the person. Instead of speaking to someone, we tend to be punchy and rely on our vocal chores. Instead, if you imagine logging your voice-over or through the person, we tend to bring our resonance forward and to a more optimal position.

Clarity

For people to understand you, it’s not just the volume it’s how muddled it is. You need a clear articulated voice. This is particularly important for non-English speakers, I’ve noticed it’s very common for Indian and french students to speak quickly and lack clarity. You can project your voice through the entire club but if it is not clear, the girl will be unable to comprehend what you say.

To get good at clarity I want you to imagine everyone you are speaking to barely speaks English. Think about how you would make your words easy to understand β€œh e l l o .. h o w a r e y o u β€œ

You can also practice with tongue twisters.

  1. She sells seashells by the seashore
  2. How can a clam cram in a clean cream can?
  3. I scream you scream, we all scream for ice cream
  4. Betty bought a bit of butter but the butter better bought was bitter so better bought a better butter.

Notice how you articulate clearly each word. This can be a good warm-up for speaking to women in the club. Something to keep in mind is simply slowing your rate of speech can be helpful. When we are nervous our calibration malfunctions. Stress makes us believe we are talking at a normal pace even when we are speaking a lot faster than usual. You will have to overcorrect and speak at a pace that actually feels too slow, or at least slower than what feels normal.

Proximity

If you are projecting with clarity and it is still difficult for the girl to hear you in a club then you can use proximity. When she says β€œwhat” or she looks like she is straining to hear you, tell her first to come closer and then move into her ear. It’s important to signal her closer first so she knows you are entering her space. Without this, she might instinctively move away or be startled.

Tone

As with projection relaxation and groundedness is important for a great tone. Tension and anxiety might increase your tone as if you are a boy in puberty. As before make sure you go through the relaxation and losing up exercises. For your tone specifically, I like to do the caveman warmup.

Jump up and down on the balls of your feet, while making caveman or gorilla noises. It helps me to lower my tone and relax my larynx.
