I attend mixers from a certain meetup group. There's a lot of networking and it's a pretty friendly environment.

Last night...I talked to a decent girl but it was hard to get the # close. People kept butting into the conversation. It was kind of loud so I would have to talk to the people around me rather than her conversation. Before I knew it she left.

What's the best way to go for a # close in this environment. Keep in mind this is a friendly environment and I'm definitely not doing a "shot gun" approach.

I'm not trying to do be a PUA. Just a normal guy looking for some advice.
