You can't trick yourself:

All I'm going to do is communicate with these girls, so as long as I do that I'm not failing

  • Acknowledge what you want
  • If you don't get it, you haven't failed, you've just been delayed

BE HONEST!!

I'm freaked out, I'm scared, I use these tools to avoid it, but I'm gonna move past them.

Moneypower's Lifehacks:

  • You're spontaneous, you don't make "offhanded" remarks
  • "I'm good with people" IS YOUR BEST AFFIRMATION
  • Open yourself to the interaction (are you nervous?, share it "you're so adorable you're making me nervous")

Challenge

Next hot girl you see, you want to approach but can't, go up to her and tell her that you wanted to say hi but you're so attracted to her that she made you nervous

"Hey, I saw you from over there and I was so blown away by how attractive you are, I'm nervous just talking to you."

"Hey, I saw you over here and I thought you were so attractive that it made me nervous to even think about coming over here."

"Hey, I noticed you and found you so attractive that you made me really nervous, I don't even think I should be talking to you right now, but I had to come say hi."

RULES:

  1. Be honest - don't change your words to what you think she wants to hear; do it FOR YOURSELF
  2. Eye contact w/ kino - constant eye contact, physical escalation when you see the opportunity
  3. Assume good things - you're awesome, she thinks you're awesome, your conversation will be awesome

Tips:

  • It's ALWAYS better to start w/ something positive ("I really like that hat" vs "Why are you wearing shorts when it's so cold?")
  • Use your anxiety as a platform, change it to excitement
  • Signs it's going well: flushing in the cheeks, glistening eyes (double, triple blinking), leaning in, tonality (warm and thick), pace (slow and deep-lover, birds chirping-friends, fast and high-nervous), parroting things you've said
  • Pass me the salt - Test her compliance ("hey do you have the time?", "do you mind scooting over a little bit?", "pass me the salt?")

Helpful reminders

Putting her on a pedestal

"I'm so sick of you putting me on a fucking pedestal. It feels like you don't really like me for who I am but who you think I am or how you want me to be. I hate feeling like I can't be myself around you without being judged. Stop living in your fucking fantasy world!"
