If you do call, for whichever reason, how do you normally go about the phone call? i.e.

Me: What's up?

Her: Not much and you.

Me: Doing X. Hey, I'm going with some friends to Y later. You should come.

Or how would you do the phone call essentially be as short as a conv you'd have via text while asking her out.
