Two dates with this girl.

We match. She says I am staying with my friend and I would be more comfortable on a group date. I did the group date and it went well. 2nd date I bring a wing for her friend. Went well, BUT it was so hard to escalate or be intimate. Group dates suck. We ended up at a crowded nightclub where it was impossible to talk or even dance.

The date felt platonic due to the group aspect and she was hard to read. Also hard to get her alone. She would not leave her friend with my friend.

Until I went to kiss her on the cheek goodnight and she kissed me on the mouth. No French but she held it and smiled as she walked away. Then I said come here and I kissed her again.

Should I just assume the group date made it difficult to get close, but the kiss says she I'm good?

  • The reason I went for the cheek is because it was in front of everyone and the night had a group feel. I literally couldn't escalate at all. Felt like the cheek kiss was appropriate in this case
