Hi,

Been out of the game a while- recently out of a 1.5 year relationship.

I'm confident and able to approach women in the street/bars. Little/no AA.

I open strongly, don't linger, and speak to them ASAP after making eye contact (often immediately, sometimes within a minute or two).

I keep things relevant/situation, funny, and brief (always leaving conversations at a 'high'). I do the "I'm [busy/have to go to my friends], give me your number" (with body language facing away).

My thinking is- I don't want one-night stands. I no longer drink, so have too many inhibitions to sleep with women who I'm not into (particularly emotionally/mentally). Thus phone numbers mean getting to know girls.

I get a lot of phone numbers. I'm texting, but don't get replies.

  • Wait 2 days to write to them
  • Make personal (remember something from our interaction)
  • I don't send them a message when I exchange my number to remind them who I am...

Number pickup

Met girl, she asked me heaps of questions, very interested. I kept my hand near her waist (Kino). Her friend couched down, and we made a joke she disappeared into the handbag. She was quite drunk.

  • "X it's Brtjj. Manage to sneak x out of the bar in your handbag?"

Met a girl at a concert. Didn't get much of a vibe either way. She told me she lives in a dodgy suburb

  • Hi X. My night got weird after the concert. Still lamenting about your travels and on a plane back? Or are you re-adjusting to being a hoodlum in [suburb she lives]

Tinder

I'm on tinder too, and have a very good profile/bio (2-3 matches a day) but again- very few reply to my messages.

Her tagline- I like cocktails (without the tails)

  • Hi X. With a tag line like that, I must ask- do you have pet insurance?

Her photo with her playing a saxaphone:

  • "Hi X. You a ten or an alto?"

  • The next day "*Tenor. Could be a ten, we'll have to see"

Her photo looks like her handbag has the pricetag on it

  • "Hi X, did you steal that purse in your picture? Still has the tag on it. Busted"

Tag line says she's from Northern England:

  • "X, lucky for you- your Geordie accent won't scare me off. Is this your only super power"

Another girl-

  • "X, I don't normally give out compliments to girls. But I must say, you have exceptional taste in men"

You get the gist.

TL:DR: Am I trying too hard? Is there a consistent pattern here?
