Coming from the viewpoint of guys taking out women "on a date" who aren't attracted to them in the first place, of course you don't want to pay for shit because it was obvious to everyone else you weren't going to get anything in the first place.

For anyone else, which should be the people in r/seduction if you were following the past decade of observable, repeatable, documented evidence on how to meet and attract women and progress the interaction; this will never be an issue.

The most you buy is a coffee or a beer because you're busy moving things along and this smooths over a potential bump of arguing who pays for what (or even has money on them at all), and in the end your reward is whatever your skillset allows you to.

Unless your personality and life goal revolves around quibbling over $5 here and there. I never have, so I can't say for sure it will destroy your set. It seems cheap and shitty to me though.

It's a no fucking brainer. The guy who wrote the article is an AFC, and seeing as he has a mentality that has been disproven and written about to death's end by those willing to experiment and better themselves; he either hasn't bothered to do his study or simply doesn't care, so he's a fucking retard for writing what he knows nothing about.

Edit: As for the people who have "never dated someone they paid (a coffee) for", YOU WERE DOING IT WRONG.

Paying for first date is definitely not required, although this guy is making it a bigger deal than it is. The most pathetic part of this article is where the author brags about his 50% success rate on dates LOL thats hilarious, anyone with even minimal game should be able to close almost 100% by the time you have managed to get to a date.

I find this extremely interesting. I want to know how/if girls and guys see this issue differently. Here's my 2 cents.

It's a win-win IMO cus he has a good time, and I have a good time, a free dinner/drinks/night out. And if the guy has no game... then it's my game and I got him on a leash (given I play my cards properly). If I'm interested in more than "dinner, sex, and breakfast", I'd rather go dutch or take turns with the bill - which ups the chances for date #2.

He mentions how those guys who pays for the girl never end up dating them/sleeping with them. With all my ex-boyfriends, we split or took turns... who paid for the bill wasn't an issue. I think everyone is different, but for me, if I'm not interested in paying for myself, I don't think the relationship is going anywhere (not even friend-zone!).

I just remembered that I dated a guy who thought that he should always pay. I never understood that, but eventually convinced him that we can take turns. I also had a friend (female) who said it was "common courtesy" for the guy to always pay. I thought she was dope.

Is there a difference when meeting a girl at a bar/club and buying drinks vs. taking a girl out to dinner? Thoughts, seddit?

Always split! And it is acceptable in Japan. My station is far away from most girls I date, so usually I tell them "I know it is a bit far to my place, but maybe I'll buy you a drink ;) "

Lots of bullshit in this article. So we shouldn't pay because it's the normal thing to do and doing it doesn't set us apart. That's really simple and poor logic.

From my experience, sharing often throws the girl the impression that you're just not interessed enough to pay for her and it sends you into friend territory.

Just don't go on dinner dates until at least the third date. At that point you should have a good idea of your intentions toward each other and might already had sex.

First dates cost me like 7$ of alcohol for the lady. I can surely pay and they seem to like it.
