a great part of that stuff falls under the social dynamics/psychology area. having social skills is the core of human interactions in general. so, while you don't necessarily need PUA techniques, having social skills will make a huge difference in reading people's behaviour, body language, etc...

The whole "game" shit is BS. It's just PUAs trying to make money. Game isn't something that is a hard skill, it's literally just approaching girls with confidence and social skills, lol. That is it.

Some terms, like IOIs are good though. An IOI does not apply to game, it is just a rule of life. If a girl is staring at you, chances are she prolly wants you to talk to her. You don't need "game" to pursue her. That is common sense.

You're trying to map out every part of your journey just so you could enjoy the destination but what you should really be focusing on is the journey itself. I have about 240GB+ of PUA material on my computer, all seminars, books, videos, files, notes, openers, routines. I have an entire pdf file of 1090 pages and it's all just for routines. Yet despite the fact that I've gathered so much knowledge, I still can't approach girls not because I'm afraid but because my town is not a target rich place, there are no fields, I'm too young to be doing this, I'm underage, so there are not many girls for me to pick up outside my social circle and I live 10 km away which is 45 min away from my town. Even then, I still keep learning about becoming an mPUA because I love the art of seduction, not because I'm trying to get laid so badly (even though I am trying to get laid as well, but the journey is the key.)

I think you're confusing that PU offers a set of tools. Almost a limitless toolbox. You don't need every single tool in it. Just maybe a core handful you find the most useful.

Unlike physical tools, people have preferences for their social tools. And depending on situation and context, some tools work way better for some than others.

Otherwise PU has been drilled down to its basics already and said in many different ways, its basically, open, attract, escalate, pull. All you need to do is find out where your natural skills aren't enough to be successful and find the tools that will fill those gaps.

Yeah. But maybe not if you're just looking at this skillset as "pick up artist shit." There's a lot in this field which can get you waaaay further than laying down a few freaky chicks.

The concept of BEING a high-value person is really what this is all about. You see, hot babes love a guy with value. In fact, everyone loves a guy with value. This will take your life to another level in your career, your social life, and (of course) your romantic life if you really take the time to internalize the foundations.

As for the examples you listed: proving value is just ensuring you are conveying what you have inside you (high value). The concept of shit tests are really a struggle for intermediate guys who have enough ability to look high value but can't stay congruent. Frame is just another concept relating to value and your internal beliefs. IOIs and body language are just the effects on your environment caused by your frame.

A lot of guys look at this as just a way to lay girls or something. But in actuality, this is a skill set that can impact your life in a much deeper way. I learned to treat women as real people and not mythical beings. I can also enjoy true, deep interpersonal bonds with everyone, from coworkers to neighbors to hot babes.
