I often have girls message initiate meeting up with me through dating apps or in-person because they see that we "have a lot in common". I'm a yoga teacher so I tend to attract girls who embrace that lifestyle fully. On dates, the conversations flow well since we have a lot of shared interests we talk about.
However, ultimately many lose attraction and I usually get flaked on a second date. On paper, I have "done things right", i.e made good conversation, was non-needy, maintained sexual tension, lead her around diff venues, have a good lifestyle, passions, etc.
Yet on the other hand, I've gone on dates with girls I have nothing in common with, and we are "incompatible", but they'll still ask to see me again.
Does having mutual interests not matter to girls initially?? I know for me personally, I wouldn't go on a second date with a girl with whom I have nothing in common with, even if she was hot. I would give preference to a girl who I have a lot of things in common with - but seems as if it doesn't matter to women either way!
