No, only talk to girls you actually like. Also, the key to being a true man is having the ability to be alone. Enjoying the quality time of being by yourself without feeling this deep depressing loneliness will allow yourself to be away from women and not to be constantly thinking about them.

The key to being alone is to keep yourself occupied with your purpose, career, physique, therapy, meditation, whatever it is. Taking control of your life is key to avoiding girls from taking over yours. Also, yes, every woman is different and there will be things that some may see as special or unique over others. But in the end, you have to flip the perspective on yourself, YOU’RE special, YOU have beautiful eyes, YOU have nice hair… Giving yourself this dose of confidence will help you to understand that you can find the same “type” or the same “qualities” in one girl & the next. There are so many women on this planet, you’ll find all of them special. So don’t play yourself. Know what I mean?

It's called hallow effect. It's a psichological thing. You think people who are good-looking also has other positive traits but usually not at all. It suck when it comes to girls, makes approach anxiety even worse usually but you can get over it after you talk with hot or just simply cute girl. After a while they're usually not too special at all

Sounds to me like your just lonely. I use to do this a lot. I’d see a pretty girl and think about her a lot. Really it’s just the idea that a pretty girlfriend will make everything better.

Try viewing her as a person and not just a pretty girl and it should feel easier over time to talk to girls.

This is definitely not a brain defect and is completely normal

Make it a habit to look for the flaws in the people you talk to as well. Everyone will look glorious if you just compare yourself to their highlight moments/features.

This worked for me. Not saying it’s the only strategy.

If you’re attracted to say 8s and above, start hitting on girls you’d say were say, a 5. Whatever you think you have no emotions regarding whether you succeed or not. You’ll likely see a lot of success. It’ll grow your confidence. As your confidence grows, start moving up the attractiveness scale to 6s, 7s, etc. You’ll eventually just go for whomever because as your confidence grows, even your ‘scale’ with whom you’d consider 8s and 9s will grow. And girls you use to think were 8s are now 6.5s or 7s.

End-game here is you realize that physical attractiveness is just a fraction of what you find attractive. And this is you maturing.

At least that was my journey.
