Slow your roll partner. You've grown too attached too quickly.

General rule of thumb: bringing up the relationship is the woman's job. If you're doing everything right, she will be trying to rope you in within the first 2-3 months. You've shown her a good time, she's determined you're not a psycho, and that she also won't lose her freedom by being with you. You do this by allowing her to broach the topic of intimacy at her own pace. You just hang out and lead the logistics and the emotions. Being this way is inherently attractive to a woman, and also quite rare - as indicated by your post, sorry you fukt it up ;)

Part of this is having enough self control that even when the girl is so amazing it makes you melt inside, you retain a calm composure on the outside. In fact, I'd say this is one of the main things that actually separates guys from girls. You have emotions yes, but it is your role to have enough self control that they run in the background so to speak.

Now as to what exactly you did wrong here. Based on how you wrote this, you are more attached than she is. This is bleeding through in your communication with her, and turned her off. Therefore the text cutting you loose. She feels like proceeding in an interaction with you could make her lose her freedom - and she may have a point.

This is recoverable but if I we're you I'd let this one go and move on. She may come back after some time of you not blowing up her phone. At that point if you've worked on this attachment issue you may have a legitimate shot at something.

I would respond with something like this:

Hey love, I'm sorry you feel that way, I really enjoyed our time together as well. I don't think I could ever be friends after seeing you upside down and naked in my bed haha. If your feelings change, feel free to shoot me a text. Appreciate your honesty, best xoxo

Fill in with your own writing style/humor. This will most likely make her second guess her decision to drop you. But under no circumstance - at all - do you give in to her bid to keep you as a friend. Have higher standards for yourself dude.

The only thing you can do is walk away & keep your dignity. You don’t even have to respond to that. For future reference you’re giving off relationship vibes which is killing her attraction for you. And it doesn’t matter if you ask for one. Your mannerisms, eye contact, how you touch her, are conveying this. If (big if) she comes back just hang out & hook up. Don’t talk about relationships. It’s feminine behavior & literally repels women.

Well, maybe she doesn’t see you both as girlfriend and boyfriend or wife and husband as your lifestyle or characters are not aligned properly. I would say you should rather take an L, persuading her towards anything won’t change her feelings. I guess you can tell her that you felt that you would be a good couple, but apparently you were dreaming. The thing is it’s only the matter if she changes her mind and it is rather totally up to her and rather very improbable. Don’t give in to the common cognitive bias that you won’t find anyone better because it feels so good with her, better match can wait just around a corner. You should realize your reason now is surely hijacked by hormonal storm from good sex and intimacy.

I’ve friendzoned a guy that i really liked because life was busy but i also wanted to take it slow and he kinda showed sleazy/not boyfriend material behavior. And I’ve said yes to being a guy’s gf because i was lonely. I agree, you shouldn’t let yourself be taken for a ride. But i disagree that asking for a relationship is feminine or bad.
