That would be a complete turn-off to me, at least. It makes you seem distasteful and classless, in my opinion, even if you actually aren't those things.

Truth is, it’s a bad way to go. While it is true that women like you more when you have options, something you never do with a woman is throw another woman in her face.

And you certainly don’t make up imaginary women to try to make someone jealous.

Now if she is a new dating partner and asks whether you are seeing other dating partners, you can be honest about the fact that you explore your options when you aren’t in an exclusive relationship. But beyond that, if she probes for details, you state, “Gentlemen don’t kiss and tell“ with a smirk.

Part of the reason for this is that it gives her the sense that you are not the type of guy that blabs about what he’s doing with women. Which is a good message to send to her as a woman in your life.

I often flirt with a girls friend first and then switch to her. I find this works well when out drinking.

Some girls seeing another girl can help but it has to be brought up organically (not as an opener imho) and can also backfire.

Not at all. Playfully lie your ass off if the question even arises, girls subconsciously like to be jealous, but they do not need to be made actively aware. Like I know for me if they say I look like I get a lot of girls I just say something stupid like “black men don’t cheat” to which of course they’ll respond that’s a lie with whatever statements they have as proof and you simply end it with a answer that shows that even though you have options, you think it’s beneath you to cheat; then change the conversation! Chess not checkers lol

It is not worth it. A first encounter is not the time to do this as you’ve not established anything for her to compete/be jealous for.

She might just say to herself “He’s seeing someone yet flirts with my friends and I. Dude’s a player; no thanks.”

Women are wise to triangulation.
