Is "The Game" worth the reading?

If entertainment is important to you, yes, it's worth it. If you're looking for the magic pill, then no,it doesn't exist.

If you read for entertainment yes, for self improvement 50/50, you'll get a good picture of you can end up in some very dark places if you just focus on getting girls, instead of putting in the work on yourself

With that saying the one thing i took from it when i started all this was it opened my eyes that i didn't have to be this perfect 10/10 stud in order to get women. That was a breakthrough for me.

What the game achieved for me was finding this place. I found it to be an entertaining read, but don't expect any actual learning material. For those i recommend reading "models" and "no more mr nice guy" (haven't read them myself, but they seem to be the most popular recommendations). There are of course many youtube channels to which this place links quite a lot. But going out in the field is of course the best method.

The main reason to read The Game is too understand that these guys, without all the resources we have to today, figured out new and novel ways to approach and pickup girls. It is a mix of NLP, Persuasion, Psychology which worked for them.

We have moved on.

Sometimes you'll see some of the The Game regurgitated here and if you've never heard it before you might think it is new and cool. After reading it you'll know the origin.
