Now you’ve got a real convo going and you’ve laid the groundwork for a date. If she says she has a boyfriend, isnt interested, etc. go back to your joke “see you have bad taste” Laugh and bow out gracefully.

Just thinking of ideas here but this is how you work out an opening routine that goes beyond just speaking to a girl and actually gets you into a conversation.

Get more confident at gaming/flirting with everyone ... guys and unattractive females. You don't get sexual with them or ask them on dates, but you practice giving them a compliment, making an observation about what is going on, making an assumption about their day or their job. Practice eye contact and being funny/teasing. You practice saying, "I have to go in a minute" and then wrapping up with a pleasant "bye".

Gaming attractive girls should not be a special, unusual thing that you do in your life, and the rest of the time you're shy and awkward. Gaming attractive girls is just a baby step up from being your normal, friendly self.
