First time cold approaching 2 girls. One of them was cute. Didn't know what to do so I opened with something like "I know this is weird but I was wondering if you could give me feedback on this:" Showed them my Tinder profile. It sounds kinda lame, but I actually managed to pull it off. They were both very friendly and receptive and it set the tone for that topic.

The cute one said some thing like "Oh I'm not on Tinder but..." This was my cue obviously, but I was so focused on what to say that I kept talking about my profile, and a minute later was like "Well... thanks for your input and ejected." Lol.

For the future, for myself and in case this can help anyone, some good things that I could have said:

  • Oh really? Why not?

  • Why? Do you have a BF?

  • How do you get dates then? ;)

  • Oh ya? Do you prefer a guy walk up to you and just say hi? Her: Yes. Me: Hi :)

Anything but a clinical analysis of my Tinder profile followed by "Ok.. thanks". I opened up not expecting anything, which was good, but I still needed to believe that it MIGHT go somewhere. It's like I was already thinking of ejecting rather than just going with the flow.
