So I took some time off from "the game". Went out three times a week instead of 7 dedicated club nights. 50 approaches to about zero. Lost interest in the bar scene, spent too much money and noticed I was getting unhealthy.

Filled my life with activities like dancing lessons, art shows, professional events, working out and generally avoided any meaningless bar hopping. Tried to follow the rule that if drinking was the focus I passed.

My [FRs] would have been pretty boring. Art show, chat with MBAs about business, swing dance with 50 year old women.

Yet during these last two months I've had a tremendous uptick in success. 3 D2's this week alone and I have two other plates I'm spinning I just can't fit in to my schedule.

Yeah, I'm kind of bragging. ;) But I want to leave this here as a record of my pua journey.

So it would be easy for me to say that I've simply gotten better with women as the reason for my recent success but I'm not arrogant enough to think that's the case. How can you get better at something you are not doing? I think there are two main reasons and I'd like to share them with seddit, hopefully this will help somebody.

  1. My life is pretty interesting and diverse. Women know my time is valuable because it truly is. I do things that better myself and am not purely into hedonistic pleasures like drinking. I've gotten quotes like "jeeze, you are certainly a catch, prize of my night" or "where did you come from? are you real?" that I've never gotten before. I honestly think saying "I've gtg, have to get in a run tomorrow morning and I can't be up much later" actually turns women on. ;)

  2. I'm meeting the women that don't go out to the bars and rarely get approached. I've noticed the quality of these women are much higher. Great personalities, funny, good careers, big brains. Pretty positive this is why some PUA's recommend daygame.

Sorry if this comes across as just me tooting my own horn but I wanted to offer my current anecdotal perspective.

I think some sedditors don't realize that bar game isn't the only game in town and that there are other, secondary and intrinsic ways you can become more attractive than having good mechanics. That is the main point of my blatant braggart writings here. ;)
