Vulnerability overall is a good thing. Trying to consistently act perfect is boring and unrelatable. Mark Manson is just saying a general principle that many other people have said before. Being grounded in yourself shows that you not only know yourself but know what you want in other people - this in of itself is attractive and polarizing.

It depends what kind.

The kind where you're polarizing and thus 'vulnerable to rejection' is more of a sign of a abundance mentality that is attractive. This is what most game is.

Or the type where you talk to a girl about your insecurities - only good in the smallest of doses. If you're not calibrated then its better to not use it.

nothing to do with seduction.. dangerous i would say if misinterpreted, and you end up appearing as a wimp or needy. Important for your personal development though

Depends on the stage of courtship you're in. I would not recommend opening up as vulnerable early on. As you get closer to a relationship or are in one, it's much more relevant.
