You're always in competition with all single men. Dating and sex is inherently an extremely darwinistic thing. Sometimes, such as in this case, that social/sexual darwinism is very front and center. Don't let that intimidate you. Don't worry about other guys due to competition. Rather, let the fact that there is competition motivate you to continue to improve yourself.
