I approach in day game venues, shopping malls, coffee shops grocery stores. Night game still scares me, people are all in groups and it's easy to feel inadequate.

My strategy is to just kinda approach a girl I find attractive with the usual "Hey this is totally random but I just thought you were cute and had to say hi." A girls first initial "I'm gonna try and get away from you now" reaction will be based on the fact that she's anxious, not that you're a horrible, ugly, "not-good enough" guy right?

I can keep a conversation going for a bit, make observations about her, the environment, make her laugh, do some light kino. After these things, I feel it's kind of out of my hands. It's just all numbers, a matter of getting lucky and finding that girl who is super-cool and receptive. Most girls you approach will either be un-receptive, indifferent or taken. Probably like a few out 100 girls you approach will be receptive. So yeah I guess I'm just asking am I doing it wrong? Is it supposed to be this bang-your-head against the wall frustrating?

I've been approaching girls in the day for about a year and have yet to hook up with a girl from cold-approach.
