It’s a little hard for us to say with so little information about you.

Something that has opened up in my area and works pretty well is speed dating. It’s usually a nominal fee but you get a lot of women face to face to work with.

I have trouble when it comes to getting a woman interested

The whole sentence is just wrong. You have this belief that you have to make women interested in you. And if you fail, it hurst your self esteem.

So if initially you make a wrong statement/fallacy, then everything what it comes after/ conclusion it will be a nonsense as well. So let's fix it from the beginning.

First you are lonely. Because of that, you want to find a partner. But it can't be any partner, you want someone who you actually like. And you know what kind of person you are looking it. She must be blond, fit etc, She also should have good humour sense, be smart, not stupid and so on and on.

Okay so you know what you are looking for. Then how do you find that person? Well, I can approach someone and see wether that person matches the woman I like. For appearance is obvious, you can just look at her. But for personality will need to talk to her. And it is not enough just to talk to her for 10min you need more time, most likely couple of dates to actually get to know her. However, you can start with initial things you want to know about her during first 10 min of conversation, and if she passes then you can ask her for a number.

To me, what I wrote makes way more sense. It follows logical path, then your supposition "I need to impress her", which does not make sense, like why do you want to do that? From where did you even came up with that?

And we, men supposed to be the logical ones, clearly it is not always the case.

Also I think dating in this day & age sucks. I have had problems meeting quality men since I’ve been single the past 5 months. It’s not just you. Often times when you quit searching you find what you’re looking for
