Hey all, newly single after 3+ year relationship. I’ll be honest I’m not ready for a relationship.

What I’m more interested in is being a more outgoing/social person. I’ve always been an introvert. Looks wise I’d say I’m average to slightly above average. Have lifted for 18+ years and in good shape. Not a bodybuilder but you can tell I lift and take care of myself.

I’ve downloaded the apps and I feel I’ve never gotten this much attention in the past. A friend of mine told me I’m at my peak right now in terms of maturity/looks/having my stuff together.

I think I’ve definitely physically matured over the last few years. Better clothes/hair style/glasses/looks and it’s been a bit of an eye opener how much better online dating has been for me compared to 3+ years ago where it felt like I was scraping the bottom of the barrel. I’ve always been the nerdy guy.

I guess what I’m interested in is more of learning to form connections with people in person. I’ve always wanted to be able to meet women in person. After college I’ve only ever dated two ladies the old fashioned way. One met at a park that approached me and the other at a bar that was through talking with her guy friend over a game there.

I’ve never approached.

I don’t know where to start to be honest. I feel my confidence has absolutely increased over the years. I just don’t want to be weird/awkward/inappropriate. Likewise I feel like I’m not really worried about what they think as I’m not really looking to date and just more so talk to people and learn.

Any recommendations?
