That will happen a lot, probably more often than not. Could be she gave you her number but wasn't really interested, or a million other reasons. If she was interested she would text you back. Move on.

Definitely don't text something passive-aggressive like someone else suggested. It won't do you any favors and just makes you look bitter.

I'd wait a day or two from the time you texted her, then send her another text asking if she wants to meet up for drinks. It's possible that she was busy or away from her phone when she got your first text and then forgot to message you back. A lot of women are really disorganized and terrible at remembering to text back.

If she doesn't reply to your second text, just let her go.

Last few weeks I've had 4 in a row do this, seemed down in person, went ghost on my texts/calls (1 attempt per skirt). Recently a 5th girl bothered to text back but flaked on the date.

Welcome to being a Validation buddy. I maintain that unless she's ready to drag you to the bathroom right there and then, you prolly won't ever hear from her.

At least back in the day we could club em and drag em back to the cave (by the hair and not feet, obviously......)

Give another text, if she doesn't respond you move on. She either gave you the wrong number by accident or you put in wrong. Either way there is no use thinking about it.

If she doesn't respond to the first text, give it a day, then act exactly as if you'd never sent it.

Don't text or call just to make small talk. Make plans, then initiate contact to invite her along.

If she doesn't respond twice, then dispense with the "Hey you"s, etc. and just let her know about the plans, and that she's invited, and leave it at that.

You should wait another day or two and text her saying "guess you're not as outgoing over the phone as you are in person. Have a nice day"
