Girl here, but I was in the same situation as you. In college I had a bunch of friends and sorority sisters that were always down to go out. This made meeting guys easy and making tons of friends (who I got to meet more people through) even better. However after graduating last year, I moved back to my hometown... let’s just say I’m 22 and two high school friends are already married/engaged, almost everyone is in a relationship, and/or none of them like to go out AT ALL! This last half of the year of 2017 sucked. I couldn’t really make friends through any means because I took a gap year to work on law school apps and the LSAT.

Cue to making a new bff through the gym as of 4 months ago. This girl and I are basically twins. We love going out, we always have a blast together, and we’re both always down to meet people and wingwomaning for each other.

Now I hate to say this, but when I see guys alone at a bar or club I do tend to think that they don’t have many friends. It’s easy to talk to a group of guys and compare interests with the group. If I’m interested in one guy out of the group, I talk to him the most and flirt (yet I still try to interact with his friends as well). It makes it easy to flirt in that group setting (this is strange to say, but it’s true).

I suggest that the next time you go out alone, try to make friends with a group of guys at the bar. If you go to the gym and constantly see a guy there that you can exchange health advice with, this can bloom into a friendship. Find that group of guys or even one guy that likes to go out and helps you express the best version of yourself. Wingmaning is a blessing 😂 plus your friend can motivate you to talk to more girls, etc. You’ll find that speaking to that one girl you’ve been eyeing will become much easier when you’re accompanied by others.

Edit: I’m going to answer this as if you’re going solo again as well. If you’re not having any luck at the bars. I think it’d be best for you to go to a proper club or one of those bars that also has dancing. You see the girl you like, make eye contact, get close to her on the dance floor. Most of the time it works! Trust me, there’s nothing worse to witness in a club than a cute guy just looking lost as heck and too shy to go up to a girl. Most of us girls want the guy to make the first move (no matter how hot they are).

Think about how a guy looking like you would do the things. If you are good looking, you are half way there buddy.

What the girl said above - going out alone won’t give off a good vibe whether it’s a bar or a club really. Not the look to attract majority of girls

Need to work on expanding your social circle more, incorporating people who will actually go out with you

Either that or work on game elsewhere where it’s okay to be alone, such as day game in shopping centres/parks and that kind of thing

Difference there is the outcome you’ll get is gonna be a number or maybe instant date at best - meeting someone and kissing/fucking em after 30 mins is next to impossible (though not entirely) unless you’re in a party setting

I go out solo a decent amount cuz alot of friends never want to do anything. My advice is go to a bar/club that has band/dj so you can watch the show without looking awkward. I actually have had most of the best nights of my life when going solo or when I straggle from the group. I also noticed I am much more successful with girls when solo. I find it very liberating and allows me to just do what I want and have fun. If you do it enough you'll get used to it, if you truly have game you should not need a wingman or a group for comfort, this will further enhance your game. I can talk to big groups of girls solo and have 2-3 noticeably flirting/ trying to dance with me. Hope this helps.

Just going to give you some facts that no one else has said. If you're at a bar and by yourself it's great. The only thing is that you need to look comfortable, that's all. You just have to look comfortable. The only real way to get more comfortable is to get more experience and keep going out.

I know heaps of ballers who go out by themselves, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. To your question, just talk to people like you normally would if you were with a friend. There's really no difference.

I'm in the same situation. Just know that sometimes you have to be a little more aggressive when joining an existing conversation.

Personally when I'm out solo, I've noticed that no one noticed that I came into the bar or club alone because they were engrossed in their own discussions. That gives you the chance to build up lots of attraction before she even realizes that you're out solo.As long as you do it confidently, it should work out. People will instinctively include you unless it's something really serious.

The key is, again, to crack open those conversations and act like you're part of the group (easier said than done. I'm working on this too).
