Be careful with the whole sexual harassment thing nowadays. Also if things go awry with her, it WILL get weird if you have to see eachother every day so make sure you have a back up plan (ie you can transfer to another department, have another job etc). The potential headaches are not really worth it.

If I was willing to take that risk, I would probably organize a happy hour and invite a bunch of coworkers including the crush then once I’m outside of work I’d pursue her like she’s not a coworker. My one question to you is, how are your dating options outside of work? Because if that’s your only dating option is at job that a problem...unless she’s also into you.

Office job for a top bank and have pulled many coworkers over the years...keep it light and friendly, maintain your professionalism at work, and you'll be fine.

If it gets serious, you're opening a whole new can of worms. That being said, my 2 longest relationships were with coworkers 🤷‍♂️
