Don´t treat it like a date then, a date consists of two people that are/could be attracted to eachother, or somtimes even three... but in your case i highly doubt that.

So i would give the "third wheel" more attention than your target, since she made it into a friendly meetup, so befriend that other person and just have a good time. And next time, if you want to have a date with a girl, say no to "bringing a friend".

Who is the third wheel, you? Or the woman's friend? Is the woman's friend male or female?

You have to befriend her female friend, that person is an obstacle. Without the friend's acceptance, nothing is going to happen. The friend is going to be judging you and she is sensitive to what her friends think. But also women don't like other people to see her being seduced. So be subtle.

Also it is fairly common nowadays for women to bring a friend for a first date, especially a blind date. This doesn't seem to be your issue. But women often feel safer using the "buddy system."

But if the friend is another guy, I would basically say forget it. YOU become the third wheel. It's not a date if she brings another guy with her. That guy is going to be an orbiter, and he's going to try to cockblock the shit out of you.

Bring a friend (wingman or pivot) to occupy the obstacle. Otherwise, YOU are the 3rd wheel.

This guy will be cool. Third wheel is pretty avoidable. As long as you aren't jumping her bones the entire time, just treat it like you're going out with two friends.

In general, other people should help your game. Because you'll be able to show you get along with her social circle. Being accepted by her friends will reinforce that you're cool to date.
