Alright, here’s a tip no one ever shared with me—or maybe I was just too sensitive back then to notice it!

We’ve all been there: you’ve gone on a few dates with a woman, maybe you matched on a dating app, or you added her on Instagram. She seemed into it, but eventually, she flakes. Maybe her ex reappears, or she just doesn’t think the timing is right.

I used to take that personally. I’d remove her from my IG and Snapchat because I hated seeing those “ghost” accounts hanging around.

To my surprise, after a few months, some of these women would reach out again, for reasons I couldn’t always figure out. And that’s when I’d get the chance to connect again. It felt like a bonus—like they’d popped back up on my radar out of nowhere, adding to my roster. So, I eventually get to be with them. A few of them eventually turned fwbs.

Here’s the key takeaway: If you’re looking for a solid long-term relationship, maybe this approach isn’t ideal. But if you’re just looking for something casual, don’t stress about removing these women from your life. You don’t have to keep in constant contact, but liking a post or replying every once in a while is enough. The important thing is not to fixate or overthink it—because, in the end, they’re just an added bonus.
