Hey

So i've been thinking about an interesting dynamic i've kind of noticed.

When I was younger and I would go to bars and clubs with my friends. I got really good at walking up to girls and either almost instantly kissing and making out with them or very quickly chatting with them and then progressing into the make out. I did this a lott. The girls would recirprocate with interest. For reference i'm a tall, good looking guy. Usually this would follow up with getting the number. But I felt like I left a lot on the table by not asking them to come back to my place.

My point is I was very bold initially, almost did it never play out the way I would have thought. Have you guys tried to be very initially bold? Did it play out with a favorable outcome?

Basically from my realisation its like you willed this situation into existence. And because you were so direct you cut to the chase and that action was admirable. Especially if the girl considers you "attractive". Because I wasn't very adept when I was younger and still lacked overall general confidence. I didn't escalate to taking girls back when I probably should have, also I didn't possess the skills to do that.

Now i'm wondering if escalating this rapidly can have diminishing returns. IE. Showing interest very soon, and for proper seduction to occur you are basically bypassing comfort, and all the little nuances that come with it. But in a club/bar setting everything is basically turned up on the dial and this is a proper environment for this type of behavior. Do you think its neccessary to play the slow game or have you had good success with being rapidly bold?

Anyways what are your thoughts? Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
