Unless you could give an example, what you perceived as hitting on you might not have actually been intended as hitting on you. I don't mean to doubt you, I know girls put out mixed signals sometimes. There's only one way to find out, right?!?

You fucked up by asking through texts. You should learn one day that the phone is actually a horrible tool. It kills all the excitement. It works against you.

Don’t use the phone with girls, avoid it like the plague. And focus on doing everything in person. Use the phone as little as possible when it comes to dating.

Also, don’t ask so many questions: Are you free tomorrow? wanna get dinner?

Just make statements instead, for example:

“i’m going tomorrow to x place, join me and let’s grab a coffee”

Asking questions is annoying to most girls.

You need to have a life first. Better would've been walking up to her in person (you already know this) and saying something along the lines of, "You look like a coffee fiend!" (She replies). "I'm going to "___coffee shop" this Saturday, you should join me, I'll be there at 10am".

Isn't awkward and doesn't put pressure on her as well as it shows her you have a life and won't be destroyed if she doesn't show up. She can either accept, decline or counter-offer a different time/venue.

If she accepts make sure you say (at the coffee shop) something like, " I'm glad you decided to join me I've wanted to get to know you a little better..." or something along these lines to let her know you are interested in being more than friends.

A lot of dudes think they are getting hit on but the girl is just being social and friendly.

So I’m going to question her “hitting” on you.
