Conversation should have ended when she said she has a boyfriend
[–]dragonwar01[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
But why give signals when you don't wanna go on date ? Somewhere i fucked up
[–]itsondahouse 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It doesnt matter why. Maybe she changed her mind or maybe she is seeing someone else. Bottom line, you wont get anything by pressing the issue asking what happened.

When you see the words “I have a boyfriend” always stop there, messaging again can actually make it worse as you’ll then be seen as someone who wont leave her alone and you don’t want that… girls talk to girls about EVERYTHING.

sorry op. Women change their mind alot. I had this chick all over me until I reciprocated interest. Some people are just so insecure that the ounce of validation is enough
however, don’t let this affect you by not showing interested anymore.
If she really liked you, she would’ve been so happy once you reciprocated interest

Unless you could give an example, what you perceived as hitting on you might not have actually been intended as hitting on you. I don't mean to doubt you, I know girls put out mixed signals sometimes. There's only one way to find out, right?!?

When I was talking to other girl, she interrupted and came very close to me, asking questions about my self , been touchy, etc

The thing is Op .. there are different style of women. It’s like a box of chocolates. You got quiet ones, crazy ones, mean ones, hyper ones, etc .. it just sounds like you got a down to earth one that thinks your cool but she doesn’t see you as dating or bf or even fwb material .. in other words, i bet a million bucks she acts like that with every guy in her personal life.

I am thinking of not chasing anymore, let me be and focus on another girls
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
no dude, focus on yourself .. stay in your lane and the type of person you’re looking for may come find you .. at least that’s what i had to learn, now i’ve got a curvy woman on my side & an active sex life ..

strike the perfect balance of pursuing and being hard to get

You fucked up by asking through texts. You should learn one day that the phone is actually a horrible tool. It kills all the excitement. It works against you.
Don’t use the phone with girls, avoid it like the plague. And focus on doing everything in person. Use the phone as little as possible when it comes to dating.
Also, don’t ask so many questions: Are you free tomorrow? wanna get dinner?
Just make statements instead, for example:
“i’m going tomorrow to x place, join me and let’s grab a coffee”
Asking questions is annoying to most girls.

If I say going to some place, she may presume i may be with someone right ?
[–]CompetitionFair7686 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She will presume you have plans… what you want it is to make it casual and non threatening, and also maintain the frame that even if she says no, you are still gonna do it, which means that she will be missing out while you have fun anyways with or without her.
And I am too nervous to go work, she literally sits right in front on me

How old are you? You should be able to brush it off and meet other women at your place of work.

You need to have a life first. Better would've been walking up to her in person (you already know this) and saying something along the lines of, "You look like a coffee fiend!" (She replies). "I'm going to "___coffee shop" this Saturday, you should join me, I'll be there at 10am".
Isn't awkward and doesn't put pressure on her as well as it shows her you have a life and won't be destroyed if she doesn't show up. She can either accept, decline or counter-offer a different time/venue.
If she accepts make sure you say (at the coffee shop) something like, " I'm glad you decided to join me I've wanted to get to know you a little better..." or something along these lines to let her know you are interested in being more than friends.
And finally, you sound new to this sub and the advice here is beyond your skill level so read the end of this post to get an idea about getting your skills up to speed.

A lot of dudes think they are getting hit on but the girl is just being social and friendly.
So I’m going to question her “hitting” on you.
Maybe she was just being nice?
