This is a text message interaction I had recently with an HB7, we went out last week (I took her to a concert with me, which was fail, but the evening was recovered).

Her: Adam Scott

I wait, not sure what she is getting at and not wanting to text back right away

Her: That's who you remind me of!

I google Adam Scott. I'm not put off.

Me: In personality or appearance?

Her: Umm. Well. I have a huge crush on him. Kind of both.

Me: I am in good company then

Her: In person he's a lot more boring than I'd hoped

Me: Hah! Damn! He looks like so much fun. Phht! This is why mystery is so useful.

Her: Nice guy. Very submissive and nice.

Her: :- /

Me: That was probably the vibe I gave you on our first night. Prior to reaching your bedroom, at least.

Her: For a second. There was one moment that was a tell.

Me: What moment was that?

Her: In your car, before we got out. Parking lot. It was very clear to me that you were in the lead. I had a difficult time sitting still. I could hardly breathe. I was surprised. Thrown off. Instantly turned on.

What did I do in the car? I drove. We had just pulled into the parking lot at the concert venue, and we were early. We find a parking spot and she moves to grab her purse and get out of the car, when I stop her.

Me: "Stay in the car for a few, I want to share some music with you." My tone wasn't one of question and it wasn't rude, more statement of what we were going to do next.

Up until this point in the interaction, the leadership positions of the two of us was unclear. She was wondering whether I was an Adam Scott. Tingly in potential but non-aggressive in person. All it takes is a few cues for the woman to hone in on your bedroom persona, and she knows what she is looking for.

Be the lead. And I don't care whether a woman is submissive or not, she doesn't want to be taking all the initiative in bed that night. Show her you can take action, she's assessing your lay potential.
