I'm new to pick up. Admittedly, I've never really had an issue with meeting and landing attractive women. That being said, I think my success was purely the result of being able to demonstrate high value in closed environments which luckily were populated with attractive women.

For example, in college I learned quickly that it was easy to demonstrate value by having a party. It was literally that simple. Have a party, be the host, be social, and you got laid. After college, I worked at a consulting firm with about 45 other young people. They had friends and their friends had friends. Again, demonstrating value meant orchestrating gatherings such as parties and dinners. In law school, demonstrating value meant leadership...and again parties.

Now, things are a little different. The ability to demonstrate value in broad social settings is over. I have a job, my friends have jobs, and quite honestly, I don't have as much time to socialize as I used to. On some nights this means if I want to do something social, I have to fly solo. I have no idea how to do this.

That being said, I live two blocks from one of the best bars in town. I was hoping some of you may have suggestions for how to use the bar as a jumping off point, but without coming across as creepy for being alone if I fly solo into the place. Also, I was wondering what the move is if I do fly solo. I've always thought it was creepy to see a guy standing alone in a bar.

Any ideas or thoughts?
