This is something that I've been thinking about posting for quite a while. Older Redditor here, and an introvert too, I've been reading and practicing PUA/Seduction for over a decade which has helped me immensely.

This is the way I see the PUA community as portrayed by r/seduction: a bunch of wonderful introvert people who are good students, good workers, good people; who are struggling in a world that is mostly run by extrovert, in a society that glorifies extrovert behavior. And the PUA/Seduction gurus are extroverts that are trying to teach introverts how to be extroverts.

Well, from my personal experience and from what I've read, it's impossible; once an introvert always an introvert.

Fear not, put it to your advantage. If you are really an introvert, do you really want to find a girl in a bar/club? Approach her, deal with the shit test, #-close her, k-close her, and more? I know I am stereotyping here, but What would you have in common? Chances are that you won't have much to talk about that you really care and you're passionate about; she's more interested in going to bars/clubs and play the game that pretty girls at bars/clubs play, what /r/seduction calls shit tests, flaking and similar.

Guess what? Just like there are so many Introvert guys who feel like a fish out of water in bars/clubs; there are just as many Introvert girls who would like to find a guy like you, but such meeting of the minds won't happen in a bar/club. So go where your ideal girl would go: gaming conventions, meetups of various kinds, cooking classes, art classes, you name it, just go and do those activities not because of the girls, but because you love to do those activities, and once there, try and be social, no need to be the life of the party What brought you here? is a good opening; then go with the flow. The way I look at it, it's not seduction it's not something you do, it's about generating attraction, about the person that you are.

Keep on reading PUA material and /r/seduction some of that stuff is geared toward becoming a Confident Modern Male, that's your main goal, living an interesting life that is as close as possible to your true persona, not about scoring girls by being someone you are not.

I am an introvert as and reading the book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking changed my life, I urge you to read soon.

EDIT: Unfortunately this post was largely misunderstood, in post-mortem analysis, it makes sense, since Introversion is misunderstood in today's world and especially on this board.

Interesting data is that while the majority of comments were negative, the upvotes were greater in number than the comments; one could extrapolate that Introverts quietly upvoted, while extroverts posted comments.

This post was just about me sharing of my experience, in the quest of helping other Introverts out there.

Without going into a long treatise into Introversion, I want to point a few things:

  • Being an introvert is just a characteristic, no different than the color of your hair. It's not a negative trait. Some people might like it, some people might not.

  • Being an introvert is not the same as being shy.

  • Once an introvert always an introvert.
