Hello everyone, a little backstory first: I went out with my buddy at a nice rooftop bar that you can enter only using elevator. There were 2 groups of people waiting for the elevator with us. When we entered it, a gorgeous girl walked in and as I could notice she was alone. The elevator was overcrowded so I felt a little nervous and didn't talk to her. Unfortunately I haven't seen her at the bar later that night.

Fast forward to yesterday -> I was scrolling on IG and saw her. I couldn't believe it because I didn't know I follow her (and she follows me too). I replied to her last story asking her if she was in the elevator on weekend and she said that it was her. I wrote that I wanted to approach her but I was hesitant because elevator was full and she was alone. She responded with "I take it as a compliment, thank you so much, I am so flattered <3 " and I asked what's her real name (she had a weird username). She left me on seen and didn't respond. Also it took her 12 hours to respond to my second message, and she posted a pic meanwhile.

I am proud of myself for shooting my shot, because the girl is GORGEOUS and waay out of my league(I am very average looking). Also I never had a gf or kissed a girl. but at the same time I'm mad at myself because I should approach her in person and maybe text her something else.

More experienced guys, what's your opinion on this? What could I do different?
