It depends on the person, but the fact she told you up front is a good sign. You know she’s not just trying to put on some sort of “show”.

IMO, She’s probably being honest, and definitely wouldn’t take it personally. I only say this because I never understood those people but managed to slowly morph into being one of them.

I was someone who would literally pull over my car or drop everything I was doing, to reply back to immediately to people…which was unhealthy.

Nowadays I’m just tired AF and often read a message when I’m not in a good spot to reply back immediately. I get side tracked to the point I will forget about the message for a bit. Even if it’s my kids…and I love them dearly. So don’t feel too bad as far as feeling important.

The only negative thing I would point out is that even though your messages probably are important to her, her excitement level towards you sounds like it’s subpar. That would be one factor where most people effortlessly get back to you at a much faster pace.

The trick is t be talking to other girls in person and going out with them while you wait for this one to reply. That way you are still getting laid while this other chick makes a decision. In other words, fuck other girls, focus on more than one at the same time, and those who just wanna text for now keep them around just in case but make sure every weekend you go out there flirt with a girl in her face invite her out take her home and sleep with her

I am also very bad at texting and try to tell people that up front, though unlike her, I don’t even open the texts until I’m able to reply. I’m inclined to take her at her word, that she really is just bad at texting and it’s not necessarily about you.

However! Regardless of the reason behind it, that’s still not a constructive way to try to get to know a person. I recommend asking her if there’s a different way of communicating that she prefers or is more inclined to do. Like, for me I’m better with phone calls, in-person, or heck, even snail mail if appropriate.

If she isn’t willing to engage with you in a better way, or she is but turns out t be just as distant, then that’s a p clear sign that youre incompatible.

Why do you care? Easiest way to get past it is to have other options, when she texts it'll be a fun surprise, if she doesn't, you won't notice.
