To answer your final question, persistence is attractive as long as it’s done with a devil-may-care attitude and she’s not disrespecting you. It shows you’re interested, are confident to go after what you want, but have options and aren’t needy or dependent on her to be happy, and if she were to be rude to you or not worth it you’d be ok dropping her.

Chasing is the opposite, it’s pursuing a girl with an absolute NEED for her to like and validate you, regardless of how she’s behaving or treating you. It just demonstrates a man without options and is kind of pathetic, needy, hence unattractive.

The difference really is defined by your frame of mind. If you can take the fact that she hasn’t responded back to you, not be at all bothered by it i.e. your frame is solid, then you could send her another text teasing her for being a shit texter - I did that three times before my first date with a girl I dated for a while, she appreciated the persistence she told me after, which is why she said yeah.

Depends on your investment level. At a certain point, refusing to chase looks more pussy, needy, and dishonest than going after what you want.

If she's a girl you're just talking to with no serious social ties, chasing looks desperate. Being persistent is even risky unless your vibe is totally non-needy.

If she's a girl you're seeing, what you want to avoid is chasing more than she is. And if she's not chasing you at all, that's a bad sign. Most women want to chase their man a little to feel like he's a catch. And the ones that aren't into that are usually pretty direct about what they want.

If she's a girl you're dating/relationshipped up with, not chasing at all makes her feel insecure in the relationship or like you're not putting any effort in. But once again, the thing to avoid is chasing more than she is.

One of the core truths about game I've found is that all absolute rules outside of "don't be a sociopath" are bullshit. There may be things that are true 9 times out of 10, and things that are absolutely true in a certain context, but every rule of thumb has an exception or some nuance to it.

In this case, a rule like "never chase" has its place in the beginning stages of a relationship, especially before you're hooking up. Why? Because a girl will interpret everything you say and do before sex as trying to get sex, even and especially if she's into you. So in that context, chasing will equal in her mind desperation for sex. But the deeper and more invested the relationship gets, the more unapologetically going after what you want has its place and its impact.

Every woman I’ve ever smashed was “Easy”. That doesn’t mean they fucked me the first night or first date, but the minute I indicated interest they were open and very forward with me. They didn’t play games, they didn’t waste my time etc. I don’t “chase” anyone. I hit on you, if you’re not interested or flaky I move on.

To be honest, that's why I've learned to keep calm until after the first date went well. Being too eager in the beginning can be overwhelming for the other when they don't feel the same, or when they're not sure yet. Also, I've had women be too eager with me and I was like "go away".

It's all about tuning into each other. I'm a big fan of expressing that I like someone when I feel that way. They can either tune in or tune out. I have low-key energy though. I keep it light, so that they don't feel pressured.

About persistence: no, persistence is not sexy most of the time. If a woman likes you, she'll show signs. If she doesn't, don't annoy her and set yourself up for disappointment. To summarise, work on becoming more perceptive to IOIs! It's been the best tool in my toolbox yet.
