Just a bit of background: I have been getting into seduction lately, my "inner game" is going pretty well, I am fairly confident, I am happy but (obviously) I want to improve my game, I dress well, and some girls find me physically attractive. My history with girls has been okay, I am pretty smooth, and when I fucked up i now know looking back I understand why. I'm 18, never wanted a serious GF (still don't), not that i feel I should justify myself for being a virgin but a basic reason is I live at home, and haven't wanted a serious girlfriend which my parents would be fine with bringing home, I doubt they would be fine with me bringing home random girls, but I do alright with girls and general attraction.

So my main question, I am alright at situationly indirect opening girls when I am on my own (like in a coffee shop queue) but I sort of want the motivation of doing it with a friend to push me, so that I get numbers not just flirting. I hear a lot of people saying you should solo, but it is hard. No matter how much I hear "just go and talk to her" it is hard, I just came back from going out and am kicking myself for not opening a girl at the traffic lights, I wasn't in-state enough to do it, we were walking in the same direction and when I walked a different way we had a good second or two of eye contact and smile. I am in my head too much, I am looking into how to get instate, and I know once I open one I will feel a weight off.

Basically; any tips for getting in state solo, and would you advise doing a few sessions with a friend just to get the initial ball rolling of a few pickups? I know it will build my confidence to do it completely solo, but as I say do you think I should do a few with a friend. (not winging, but to motivate each other). Bit wordy but thanks :)
