Yes. Also I often suggest an improv class. Most comics/standup comedians or actors I know have done that type of class. This is why it’s easy for them to do a crowd work.

Or watch “whose line is it anyway” shows and you can see how many of them can just be given a short line or topic and they can improv on the spot.

This is like someone who wants to learn how to make fried eggs but, for this reason he goes to a professional class to study an entire cooking manual, just to make the damn fried eggs.

There’s no need to complicate things. In reality, you only need 4–5 funny or interesting short stories (better known as routine/gambit) and 3-4 DHV stories. These two things will give you enough material to talk with a woman for 15-20 minutes. An example of DHV story is this:

(At a bar) - "Do you hear this song? It reminds me of a day when I was on a weekend trip to XYZ-city/place. The girls in the car had a music CD and played only girly songs the whole way: Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Beyonce... by the end of the trip, I knew every lyric, every beat… I walked into a bar to grab drinks and I said to the bartender [imitate a pitchy voice - to sound like a woman] "three beers and three lemonades, please!"

A routine/gambit is this: "Did you say you are from XYZ-city? No way! A friend of mine went in XYZ-city and he said .... [insert a funny story]...."

Learn a few more similar stories/gambits and that's all you need to start. Simple as that.

Improv is probably better. Never heard of anyone taking a story telling class before.

yes and no, honestly its about esculation not story telling but look at guys like Russell Brand he can talk for hours about nothing, and women love him even before he was super famous, he got some model-type girls and fucked katy perry and a few of her friends in 3 some

No. You become a good storyteller by living a more varied lifestyle. If you're a dork who spends all his free time "studying" dating and talking to women then you will have no interesting stories. Maintain hobbies and find new ones. Learn new skills. Travel. Work hard. Then you'll have genuine stories.
