As an English learner, I found there are many subtle differences in sentences. For instance, I think the following 3 sentences slightly give off different vibe to me:

1. Hope you didn't get too tan. How are you, Mandy?

2. Hope you didn't get too tan. How are you?

3. Hope you didn't get too tan, Mandy. How are you?

And here are what I think the vibe each sentence gives off. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  1. Being cocky a little bit. (If I knew this girl was into me, this would work the best)
  2. Shy a bit. (By not calling her name, it can come off as slightly inconsiderate)
  3. Normal.

And if I'd send this message to girl I just met 4 days ago, which one should I choose among these? I'd say the number 3. Am I making the right decision?
