If it was me, I’d start moving towards seeing if she has romantic interest in me now, better to get it out the way now vs having built it up for months

Women are generally somewhat less shallow than men when it comes to picking romantic partners

But if someone isn’t attracted to you or doesn’t see a romantic prospect in you, there’s a slim to zero of being able to change their mind

I feel like most seduction strategies are more casting a wide net, but what about one girl in particular.

lol most seduction/pua stuff is exactly this. 'cast a wide net' material, it's entirely designed almost exclusively for guys who live in places like nyc, vegas, london, etc. which is why the material is so garbage to begin with. none of these seduction or pua gurus know how to pull one girl in particular because they rely more on volume, tourists, and drunk sluts more than they want to admit. any advice is just going to be the usual vague stuff that will just marginally improve your odds a couple of percentage points. seduction material is in the business of being "good enough" for some girl, for a short period of time.

Just keep her at arm length. A simple “don’t be too needy, don’t be an asshole” will do most of the time. She can put you in a friend zone as long as you let her.

It's not 'casting a wide net'. It's more that learning the skillset to get women generally, tremendously helps you to 'get one girl in particular'.

You learn and make mistakes in a low-pressure environment. You can't learn how to present yourself in 'the proper manner' under the extra pressure you're putting on yourself; most guys struggle enough talking to a stranger with no real attachment, nevermind actually 'hyping' the girl up beforehand.

It shouldn't be a big deal. Again, you learn how to talk to women and then you can easily talk to whatever specific woman you want to; but to 'skip' the learning and the experience will always just leave it to chance. There is no room for development, there is no getting feedback, getting reference, adjusting, you got one target and you hit it or not. That isn't the situation to ask 'what to do'.
