experimenting with a mix of opening styles as opposed to only going direct. The last FR was all direct approaches and was a bit of a disaster, lol. Lots of people say direct is only for handsome dude, but I still plan to use it sometimes anyway!

Group of girls on the table behind me a few guys i'm with. I turn to the hot one, smile and tell her that they look like they're having fun. She's looks mildly nervous about the open (UK girl). I ask her name and make a comment on the drink that they're all sharing. I try to do a cold read about how they all know each other. Her body language is telling me that she wants me to go away, but she's not said it so I carry on trying to talk to her. Running out of things to say as she's not saying anything. I try to introduce her to my friend who is near but she doesn't want to play and she kind of shuffles closer to one of her friends and turns away. Eject

I open a girl at teh bar with a comment about her jacket. She smiles and tells me a short story about buying it that day. She gets her change from the barman and says ''bye'', but sits down to join another girl very close-by.

Few minutes after me and my friends sit on a nearby table and me and the girl from the bar make eye contact. I accuse her of stalking me. She laughs and says ''as if!' I pretend i can't hear her very well and go and sit next too her. Introduce myself. Name? Where you from? Who you with? Where have you been tonight? etc. Usual stuff. She asks me a few questions back which is rare. I'm touching her to make points. We've been chatting for a while and I know I need to escalate so at one point, I gently pull her towards me. She kind of tenses up and I can tell she doesn't want me doing that so I back off and talk about something else.

Carry on talking. My friends decide they want to go too a different bar. I tell the girls to join us. They decline. Could have tried to get the number but the fact that she didn't want me escalating on her and the fact she didn't want to join us means she probably wasn't attracted to me so not worth it. next!

Open a girl who is with a friend and tell her that she's cute and introduce myself. She says ''we've both got boyfriends'' and looks instantly moody. Eject

My friend is talking too a girl and I can see that her friend looks bored. I open her and we small talk. name/age/bla bla bla. She's asking me lots of questions. I ask her what she does for fun. She seems receptive, but there's no sexual tension or anything, really. It's just a chat. I think about trying to touch her more, but the earleir interaction is playing in my head, maybe. I consider making some sort of statement of intent? (''you're hot, by the way'' kind of thing, but it sounds weird in my head. My friend bombs with his one, and now she grabs the girl i'm talking too and yanks her away from me.

5/ Open a girl on the dancefloor with an opener about her phone. She is fairly receptive and laughs a few times. Can't exactly remember what I was saying here. We fall into some sort of roleplay which means we are touching each other a fair bit. We begin talking about tinder for some reason which gives me a chance to implt taht she's hot and I pretend that I 'liked' her on the app recently. We're kind of flirting here. Her friend who's been talking to one of my friends comes over and she seems to immediately hate me. very cold around me. Even though the girl i've been with certainly doesn't hate me, I don't really feel as though she's at the point where I can kiss her or anything. I know I need to do something, but If I go in for the kiss or something now, I feel I have about a 1% chance of her not pulling away. We fall back into small talk about where we live and just general chat, and her friend is just standing near us. I try too involve her, but she just gives me one word answers. They soon bail, but not before I ask for her number which she gives me.
