To be honest you shouldn't be making advances on women through Instagram. It sounds like you're in high-school so in my opinion your best bet would be trying to make friends with them while you're there taking classes and in passing periods instead of at home.

It doesn't work because you're doing what every other guy does on instagram, and tbh it's kinda cringey and a weak move. Your friend's success just seems like luck. Personally I'm not huge on social media game but instead of commenting a compliment, I would just go straight for the DM's and open with something stronger and less generic then "beautiful". If you both go to the same school your best move would be to approach her in person. Good luck.

It's probably not congruent to who you really are. She goes to your school, so she most likely has an idea of who you are. You randomly commenting on her photo is going to throw her off not in a good way. Also, think about what your social media says about you. If your social media isn't a highlight-reel of you at your best, then she might not be attracted.

Ultimately, it is possible to attract women via social media. That being said, it isn't something many guys can do well. Work on social skills and generate more value for yourself. I'm talking about physical looks, emotional health, and intellectual power.

Usually I will like a picture and comment something like "beautiful". Then no longer than 3 seconds later I am blocked. (Also doesn't help that she goes to my school.)

To be honest, whenever i was exploring the diverse online dating sites, looking at the pictures of women, whenever there was a comment function, i started laughing hilariously about the needy creeps that comment on their pictures with "you're beautiful!" or the famous "You're beautiful, i want to get to know you, please write me!!!" and last but not least "I wrote you but your mailbox is full, please respond!".

What do all of those comments have in common? Right. They are the pinnacle of creepiness, reeking of neediness, insecurity and generally portraying those guys as total losers. On the other hand they fuel the girls ego, giving her the feeling she is the most beautiful and sexy woman in this world, making her basically need it on a daily basis, hence why she puts up new pictures constantly to get more attention. One thing though, is sure: Those girls will NEVER.... not in a million years be interested in meeting one of those creeps who think they can attract her by commenting on her pictures.

So... I give you an advice: Get off those stupid platforms trying to be better than the other creeps, and go into the real world, have real interactions with real people instead of a fantasy.

Fuck "you are beautiful" , she didnt do shit to be beautiful. Thats a bullcrap compliment. The only compliment i give on their body/face is if she puts in alot of work and has a trained body, and even there, i dont compliment her body, but the work she did to achieve that body. Get off instagramm, or just post hilarious comments/other shit. Instagram is just a shithole for girls that are mostly too focused on getting attention anyways. So you dont want to hang out with most of the girls there anyway
