No, it's not game, it's not holding frame, it's not teasing, it's not "abundance mentality"(this is a ridiculous idea), it's not "capturing her mind" and it's not being "alpha".

A succesful relationship - which should be the end game of it all - usually comes down to these factors

  • Being of similar level of physical attractiveness
  • Similar level of education and/or intelligence
  • Similar Age. Mentally healthy women today usually don't go for 10+ older men. This is a manosphere fantasy.

Other than that, similar interests, basic conversation skills and being able to connect emotionally based off your backgrounds. That's it.

I don't think Mark Manson is right on everything but there is one thing in his book he absolutely is right about: In order for a relationship to blossom, both need to invest in each other but the woman a tiny little bit more than the man. This is only possible if she feels like you're a catch. And she can only feel that if you score a little bit higher or at least the same in important areas as the ones mentioned above. If you're slightly physically more attractive her and very articulate for instance, it's only natural for you to be a catch to her.

Always remember all these techniques "a la trigger her desire through such and such" come from dating coaches who do this as their main source of income. They benefit from you believing these things. "Game" can never a substitude for the factors mentioned above.
