When would you say its too late to settle down and start a family ? Honestly, I think it's 35 for women and 38 for men. Meaning, a woman should be partnered by 34 and a man by by 37 or else it's not going to happen imo

My dating results improved when I became more masculine (less neuroticism, action-oriented, more reliable, more competent, just do it mindset, stronger), they never improved when I became "prettier".

The problem is that friends become less of a thing in your 30's and up as almost everybody settles down and retreats into their own little space, i.e. family creation. So, the best way to have a social life seems to do the same thing. They think in terms of how useful a person is to them and like that person is optional This isn't just men, it's everybody. People befriend people when it makes sense to befriend them contextually. If someone believes they're not getting anything out of the relatio…

I sat down with my mom and we had a bit of a generational dating talk. We analyzed her friends and my friends and everybody else and we came to the conclusion that most people do not end up marrying the person they want lol. Or at least not their dream person. Friends talk about this openly to each other. For example my moms friends admitted to her they kind of wished they bagged somebody else. And I don't think this is tragic by the way. It's normal. Either that or end up alone forever.

No I mean they will not make much of a difference. Strength training and diet belong to the same thing. Skin care is kope, it's about sleep. Social skills are obligatory, you don't get brownie points for that

If you're the less powerful player in a game, you'll have to shut the fuck up and keep your head down. Play the game. Because you're not going to win by attacking boldly. In Game of Thrones, king Robert Baratheon despite being a legendary warrior known for his strength and what not, asks his best friend Ned to go easy on Tywin Lannister because the guy shits gold and he needs him to keep things running. Mark is r.pilled. He just knows that you can't be as blunt if you want to be mainstream so he repackages ideas in a more softer and acceptable way. He did precisely this in his book 'Models' which is a good book but none of it is new.

Unlikely. He's a relatively unattractive comedian, he can get a gold digger. Jason Momoa can get a baddie without the fame.

Comedian couple Tom Segura and Christina P from the YMH's podcast are getting divorced after 18 years of marriage. People are (jokingly?) saying that now that Tom has lost some weight, he think he's hot shit and can get someone better. Jason Momoa recently got a divorce too and got himself a new baddie. I think this Tom guy is about to find out very soon that he's not Jason Momoa.

Social media has really convinced us that we are connected with other people to the point that it can lead you to having parasocial relationships with people who don't even know of your existence. It has also made people believe that everybody can just open up an online business when in reality 99 percent people won't do that. Very strange. Best to just nuke it all imo

If you want a woman with a nice body, you have to have a nice body yourself. Meaning you have to go to the gym regularly. Either that or your face is nicer than hers so she still accepts you as her superior despite not having not the aesthetic body. Those are the two options you have. Either that or drop your standards which works too of course.

Fact: Women hate romantic men. There is nothing worse than a romantic man. It shows that his soul is corrupt. A woman should always be wondering, at least a little bit. Why is he not romantic like that ? Is it because I'm not good enough ? Or is it simply his nature ? And why do I love him so much nonetheless ? Sometimes I feel like I don't even know him.. There's something so unattractive about someone saying they want a serious long-term relationship even you yourself want one. It just sounds so formal. It sounds even worse when they're like 'I'm done playing games'

People be obsessed with doggy. I on the other hand, I see myself as a premium horse of the best kind, waiting to be ridden. She has to put in the work. Plus, if she has a great body, her on top is a so based.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 09:30 PM

Here's a controversial take and this will get me in some hot waters but missionary, when done right, is the best position. Woman on top is also based. The rest is way too much work. I don't understand the love for it.

You think wanting to get a bj by a sexy slut is linked to not being loved your grandma ?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 07:52 PM

If she's not naturally into doggy, requesting it herself, that's already a red flag. She should be begging for it.

If you can get a better deal without repercussions, you'll often do it. It's a dark part of human nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 06:15 PM

I agree on the validation part. It's also why I say that men need to have a mission even if they have a family of their own. If you have nothing to do, at some point, your own kids will start getting annoyed by you. “please tell me I’m pretty” and as a man you do *not* need to emanate that second category I've definitely done this before in the past. Very cringe.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 06:08 PM

Yes, I would say especially as you get older. Women 25+ (even before that) are strongly attracted to competence and physical strength is a form of competence, physical competence in this case. It's biological essentially. Attractiveness=good hunting abilities. A man with a pretty face but no skills is a bad hunter. I also believe that there should come a point in our lives where we do things because we want to challenge ourselves, not in order to please women, in this going to the gym. And I do …

Beckys sometimes have extreme high standards and the mechanism behind it is gene correction. By opting for a very attractive man, they hope that their own lack of attractiveness balances out by mixing with an attractive man, thereby resulting into a semi-acceptable off-spring. It's an interesting mating strategy, I must say.

You or we, everybody needs to understand that most people don't really care that much about you. I try to solve this problem by combining it with joggers so it'll come off as an casual athletic look My justification comes into play with “I didn’t build a physique and continue to working at it so I can keep it a secret” z The best state to be in is still if you're so jacked that it shows even in a t shirt. Not an easy state to achieve though, I'm trying to get there

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:19 AM
2

Yeah and it seems to me like whatever path you'll choose, you will experience regret. I do think however and I'm increasingly coming to this conclusion that following your passion will lead to less regret. Doors might also open up, as in you will meet people (friends, maybe even a future spouse) you might not meet otherwise. Also, if you don't do what you're interested in, you're at bigger risk to not finish whatever you started.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 12:05 AM
2

Well yes but the problem is what if you end up broke doing that. The only problem is that chasing material comfort only is spiritually devoid of meaning and it can lead to other problems too, like dropping out of whatever you're doing because you're simply not interested in it so you stop giving a fuck so it's tricky
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 11:55 PM

I used to think following your passion is bad advice but maybe it's not as bad after all.

My honest opinion on dating apps is, even if you do well on them, it is a sign that you're not being social enough. It's just the truth. Life is full of opportunities (coffe shops, libraries, gym etc) which suggests that if you resort to dating apps, you're simply not being social enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 11:40 PM

Rarely. They might be more competent in how to deal with kids or the household or family matters but oustide of that no. I get what you're saying but money matters and generally speaking I don't see women with men who are overall, all factors combined less competent the men they are with with it working out in the long run

Definitely not true since women mate up when it comes to over all competence, especially long-term. Women are repelled by men dumber than themselves. Some men (the engineer types imo) usually come to this conclusion because they don't perceive let's say.. the verbally fluent guy with a master's in communications who is good with women as intelligent (he is). They then conclude that women don't like intelligent men. It's obviously not enough. You have to be her type too.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 07:41 PM

The funny thing is it's not that 'society' or men who are against this as often propagated. It's women who are against this lol.

awful women in relationships with decent men I've never seen this
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 06:54 PM
1

There's a reason why single women are single. If it's not their standards that are too high, it's because they're annoying or they identify as "strong women". They usually have that abrasive and annoying tone in their voice too. Men tend to avoid that like the plague.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 06:18 PM

For me this has always resulted in poor results.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 10:15 PM

The 20th century kind of showed us that it was never about love. The ability to freely divorce has shown that it was never about love, it was always about trying to get the best deal you can get. And if you believe (usually women, not always but usually) that breaking up that unit makes sense because you can still get something better (a better life or a better spouse) based on your own calculated market value and without severe consequenses - then that's exactly what you will do. Man, it sucks …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 10:10 PM

What I'm saying is everytime I cared a lot, things didn't work out. When I let go, things began falling into place.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 08:59 PM

Real talk, when I was at my most succesful with women, it was never when I looked my best. It was always when I cared the least - and had other shit going on.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 07:18 PM

A classic for sure. One of my favorite headlines of the last few years is "20 years ago, Tom Cruise jumped on a couch" lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 05:31 AM
4

I don't think there will be another movie star like Tom Cruise, certainly not soon. The guy may be crazy but you couldn't make a better movie star if you wanted to. Extremely dedicated and passionate. Most of actors today are too soft.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 09:31 PM

Pointless practice.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 04:54 AM

Plus, kings are fucking cool.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 03:21 AM

Men of culture, would you date a woman who doesn't suck dick ? Dealbreaker or not ?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 02:05 AM

So here's a hot take: Monarchy is a better form of government than what we have now. You You can't trust an elected ruler to have the long-term best interest of the nation at their heart. He has to be raised to be his nation's leader. An elected leader sees it as a job. A king sees it as his life duty. People are starting to realize that modernity is a farce. We have been duped.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 01:49 AM

A lot of them are trying to deny it these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 10:55 PM

Have you noticed how angry atheists get when you tell them that Jesus existed. I don't know but why this seems to provoke unparalleled anger in them. They'll usually start coping with saying shit like "We don't have ultimate proof!" Get the fuck over it, the guy existed and changed the world - even if the theological narrative about him is made up.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 10:51 PM

The whole idea of how men are insecure dating women who make more money than them is so cringe. Most men don't give a fuck, it's the women who care.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 09:30 PM

It's interesting what Will Smith was tall, decent-looking and status-maxxed but he still had a shit relationship/marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:49 PM

For the same reason, any writer does that : To get it out of their system
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 01:39 AM

The reason why men are hesitant to get married is because the social contract has been broken. They'd be lining up for marriage if they felt like they gained a loyal spouse and divorce court wouldn't destroy them.

I think having standards is fine. A woman wanting a man who is approximately her height is not a crazy standard. A crazy one would be to only be dating guys who are much taller. Not wanting to date a fat woman isn't a crazy standard either for example
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:08 AM

interesting perspective, thank you. I feel like we would be all better off switching from a fun-seeking way of life to a life of meaning and service
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:35 AM

so, it erradicated your hedonistic tendencies ? feels much more obvious that I do not understand the perspective of others and cannot assume theirs to be similar to my own. making presumptions about other people says more about my own experience than theirs. Would you say that therefore people are fully responsible for whatever situation they find themselves in ?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:26 AM

I was asking you a question cause I was curious. I'm actually interested in the topic
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:17 AM

It's just something I noticed in people. Not much seems to change for them after that. "It is a stark reminder that my world is heavily based on my perception of it, and that reality can be very different from the way I'm perceiving it." can you make an example ?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:13 AM

Ego-deaths, induced by psychedelics never or rarely remove the biological reality of your life. There is no way to escape regular life besides living in a monestary.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:09 AM

Work is not to be enjoyed. It is to be endured.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 12:19 AM

I think yes since even non-volunteering women work there, like educators, psychologists and social workers. A lot of them are good women too.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 02:25 AM

Her hypergamy would be fulifilled in that case. It's still the same thing. Generally speaking, pretty women don't date straight up fat guys though, I would say that's correct
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 01:34 AM
1

Many of them don't at all since they see no point in it. They are also desirable enough to quickly secure LTR-commitment from a desirable man
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 01:22 AM

Very desirable women don't engage in casual sex.

And coincidentally enough, you always 'love' somebody who is a better than you in several areas whereas men don't which is all backed by research too. Hmmm, what a coincidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:19 PM
0

No, that's 'womanese', i.e. the inability to speak straight - which is why spheres like this were created. A long-term LTR that is satisfying for the woman is always one where the woman perceives the man to at least be slightly better than her. There's also usually an underlying understanding in both that this is the case. That is healthy. You not wanting to acknowledge that because of your ego is an example for womanese.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:11 PM
0

You think of them as better than you if they're actually better than you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 10:39 PM
1

I'm telling you what most people do. People want to be in relationships and you can't just magically increase your desirability to a significant extent. And you could be perfectly healthy, it wouldn't change your need to be in a relationship. People crave social and romantic opportunity, irrespective of how healed they or not. Therapy won't change that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 10:37 PM

The upside is that you don't end up single for your whole life. Only a very small minority of men can afford to not lower their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 10:11 PM

Women need to stop with the nose rings. It's looks and is ridiculous honestly. Get over your daddy issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 10:04 PM

But that's not punching above his weight. If the guy is significantly better than her in one or several areas that are important to her, her "hypergamy" (to use this cringe word) is satisfied. Which means she gets with him because she perceives him as better than her
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 08:28 PM

When a woman is really into you, it's always because she perceives you as better than her. It's actually incredible how reliable this is as a predictor.

Whenever I got laid, I wasn't intending to. I had other stuff to do which I liked to do. Whenever I was obsessed with getting laid, things simply wouldn't fall into place. I l looked the same too. Weird.

I just learned that the brands Puma and Adidas were created by two actual biological brothers who had a huge fall-out (apparently for political or personal reasons) and they feuded and competed until the very bitter end of their lives with their respective companies becoming symbolic for the feud as well. Did any of you guys know this ? Jesus Christ, talking about sibling rivalry. There really is noone that can rile you up more than family.

Thoughts on texting a date years later (3 or 4 years later) you had a good first date with and both of y'all wanted to see each other again but it's unclear as to why that didn't happen ? Would it be awkward or strange to hit them up ?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:53 PM

The truth is that if she's into she does not give a fuck if you pay or not. If you have to jump through silly hoops like that - it's already over
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:45 PM
1

My honest take on this is that most things are overrated. I don't really give much of a shit about exotic food, I care about the quality of my relationships. I think people are a bit more social in places like south-eastern europe like Greece for example. But western or northern europeans on the other hand are far more autistic than americans
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:40 PM
2

You inspire cause you're older than me (with kids even I believe) and you still see the value in socializing. And here I am, in my 30's sometimes believing its too late to establish long-lasting ltr's.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:37 PM
1

And let's be honest, it's pure strategy. If you want to have kids, you can drop off a bit earlier since your family will be your social circle by then. If not, you need people to feel sane. And even if you have kids.. the whole saying "it takes a village to raise a kid" doesn't come from nowhere. You always need people.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 12:18 AM
3

Imo, between 18-40, you should socialize as much as possible. Use every single minute because whatever you want to achieve, you can't do it without other people. It's people who open doors. Also obviously, if you want a romantic partner, you need to socialize too. And by socializing I don't really mean "partying". Agree/disagree ?

There is no such thing as 'legendary models' though. It's not really a reputable profession. Acting is a bit more respected on the other hand
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 10:18 PM

For me it's a bit the opposite. I wish I would have spent less time with friends and more time on my professional path
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 10:05 PM

Idk if this is just me but at my most "handsom-est", I was my most useless self too. It's like I saw no point in making something out of myself because I was already handsome. There's a story in greek mythology about this. The character in the story is called "Narcissus" The bible has one too. These ancient people knew a thing or too

I'm starting to think, maybe money isn't that important after all. Some level money yes, but ultimately it's about relationships. If you don't cultivate those, what do you even need that money for. Having a nice talk and walk with a friends is better than going on vacation alone
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 09:28 PM

Everybody who accuses others of being weak-willed because they are struggling or who claims they simply need to pull themselves by their bootstraps possesses or once possessed resources at their disposal to provide them with backing and support, far more so than the people whose struggle they mock. Whom is a man really loved by though ? Maybe his mother, a sibling, one or two good friends max I would argue. I think the focus on appearance is ridiculous but more importantly it's futile. It won't do much for your life as long as you're not fat. I've known very good-looking men with really, really bad lives (they also tend to have bad relationships)..but I've rarely seen competent men with bad lives and research confirms this. /r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 07:33 AM

Having observed mine and the life of other men, it gets proportionally better to you becoming more masculine and competent. Your dating life becomes much better too, way more options. Basic evolutionary psychology. The better of a hunter you are so to speak, the more desirable you are. It sucks that people can't love you for you unfortunately
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 10:20 PM
2

Watching people in general makes you trust people less. I agree. Maybe you noticed this but people are extremely utilitarian and pragmatic. They'll allign themselves with whoever offers them the greatest benefit. I mean the fact the US is in business with Saudi Arabia for example is hilarious.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 08:15 PM

Fukkkkk Dating apps. Everybody let's go outside and talk to people and stop hiding like a bitch between "witty openers".

People who've never gone struggled in their life are boring as fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 08:25 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 04:08 PM

so love over money= dummy ?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 01:16 AM

Many women would rather marry a charming, decent-looking guy who makes 30k a year than an average guy who makes 80k a year in my opinion. They'll accept the problems that come with a lower salary if that means don't have to endure an average guy. Thoughts ?

Well since you identify as a 'feminist', it's a safe to say that you have no access to desirable men. Because no men with option would tolerate a woman who goes on rants about feminism. You just get weeded out instantly
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:24 AM

Actually, what you're doing is trying to get men on your side to go to war (figuratively) against other men by throwing them a bone . Tale as old as time. The problem is it has zero effect on men with options. But granted, it will work with some men
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:17 AM

Yes, everything is a plot for feminists. There's always an underlying reason for the world that conspires against women. It's never about being below average in attractiveness or/unresolved trauma related to the male care taker which then sparks the adoption of feminism as a protective mechanism
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:06 AM

It's a proxy debate and a code for 'I'm not that into him'. Nobody cares about an 'orgasm gap' if the guy is her best option. In fact, and some men can attest to this, it seems like the less the man cares about 'making her orgasm', the more she's into him. If a woman talks about 'the orgasm gap', get another one
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 12:24 AM

That's what they do. The goal is rarely the truth with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 08:32 PM

Research suggests that female basketball players on the same team show less affection towards each other than male players on opposing teams. Men seem to be the compassionate sex. Why is that in your opinion ?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 07:30 PM

Not all but many of them, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 07:20 PM

Good point. It doesn't make sense for them to cheat because they have no access to desirable women
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 07:16 PM

Not by much. His actual market value doesn't change.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 07:15 PM

They don't receive advances in the first place, that's the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:51 PM

Meh, not really. Most average guys are married and they aren't desired by attractive women
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:50 PM

Hookers are not what counts as 'options'
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:49 PM

Options signal themselves to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:49 PM

Decent-looking short guys rarely struggle with dating tbh. But I've definitely seen bad-looking tall guys struggle to get dates
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:36 PM

Men who pride themselves with being loyal to their wives/gf's (but who clearly have no options to be disloyal with desirable women) are kind of funny. Are virtuous or are you disguising your pragmatism as virtue ?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:35 PM

Standing on your principles while you have no power or way to enforce them will just get you cucked and swamped. Nobody cares about your principles. Like Kanye once said."Wait until you get your money up"
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:29 PM

I'm not trying to be. But I can still leave my mark
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 10:32 PM

Let's talk in 5 years. I'll show what a man with a cause is capable of.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 10:24 PM

Men who focus only on romantic love are fucked in the long run. Also forgotton. Either way, history doesn't talk much about Casanova. People like him are obscure side characters. It's people like Alexander the Great, Jesus, Buddha who leave an impact.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 08:46 PM

Have you ever noticed how atheists are often fat, unathletic and unkempt ? It's almost as if they are angry all the time. Maybe..they are angry at God.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 08:44 PM

The problem is that there's not much you can do. Either, you're better than them or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 07:11 PM

The hoe phase was promised to you 3000 years ago. But it's probably since hoe phases are more for 'mids'.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 07:09 PM

Complaining about how women have standards or that you have to compete for them is a waste of time. How do you expect a fit woman to be into you if you don't work out yourself ? Or how do you expect a woman who values education go for a man who doesn't have a degree or does not value it ? Seems kind of crazy to expect that you are just loved for "you". No such thing really
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 07:05 PM

if I get older and the dating market just becomes utterly irredeemable regardless of my skill level then maybe I'll consider settling. When are you planning on doing that or when do you think that happens usually ? I feel like 34 is a good age we should shoot for. Anything above that and we'll have to date single mothers which is a night mare. None of us wants that
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 03:05 AM

I agree with you but how likely is it to meet an incredible woman ? Not very likely I'd argue. And the hot ones tend to be high maintainance divas. So, it's either mid+ good character or hot+ shit character
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 02:43 AM

When straight women make out with each other, it's because they want attention from men or they want to be whorish without the moral repercussions. Meaning, it won't be penalized like getting fucked by a man will. It's their "way out". Crazy what type of things they come up with just to avoid scrutiny. Sisterhood above all, I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 02:25 AM

The ones I know are usually with women who have their own money so how is that a financial trap ?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 02:01 AM

I feel like this is true. Most relationship problems aren't as unpredictable as people claim they are
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 01:19 AM

It's not just women. People who are in a more priviliged position than you will always tell you that whatever the situation you're in is completely the result of your bad actions and whatever good situation they are in is the result of their good actions because they are such an enlightened being.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 01:17 AM

Do betas win in the end ? I feel like they are the guys who end up having good, long-term LTR's
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 01:06 AM

Thanks, buddy
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 01:03 AM

Nobody is stopping you from doing anything
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 12:54 AM

That's the truth
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 12:48 AM

The Problem with this is that women feel entitled to speak on this (which is dumb on their behalf) which triggers a counter-reaction in men which leads to some juvenile tug-of-war kind of thing where the goal isn't to come to a truthful conclusion but to validate one's opinion via convincing the other. How important sex is varies from person to person and from relationship to relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 12:37 AM

Well, do you find it annoying or do you shrug it off and accept it as a "camouflage is the woman's way" kind of thing ?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/26 12:52 AM

You will also be incompatible with most women who find you viscerally attractive at first. So, there goes the dream of being a walking bitch magnet.

Q4men: What do you think when you hear women say they're into "ambition" - knowing that it's a code word for climbing the status/money ladder but they disguise it as 'ambition' so they don't come across as shallow ?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/26 12:21 AM

The idea that you become a walking chick magnet once your appearance is great is such a ridiculous statement and shows a total lack of life experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 11:53 PM

Aren't most people not 'impressive' as one of the comment suggests ? Most people are ordinary
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 12:45 AM

It doesn't necessarily have to be depressing. One can accept how things are and still enjoy the ride. Acceptance is a powerful tool. But yes, for more sensitive and introspective people, it can leave a bitter taste in their mouth. Understandably so.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 11:18 PM
1

It's pretty rough but I believe it's still possible to conduct a good LTR. But realizing the mechanics behind it can be very dooming indeed. I think it's because men are more romantic than women who are essentially very pragmatic when it comes to romance.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 10:59 PM

Q4men When did you realize that a woman can only love you if she feels like you are her equal or you are (slighty) better than her (in whatever regard) - and how sad did the realization that 'love' as disney teaches it is a ficiton make you and it's mostly all about biology instead ?

Apparently Trump called a news station once in 1991 under a false name (pretending to be a friend?) to let them know that Trump just got divorced and is extremely popular with women and therefore isn't ready to make a new comittment yet. He was in his mid 40's around that time. That's so hilarious. The fact that he felt the need to make sure others know he's very sought out by women.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 06:48 PM
7

Can we talk about the location pill ? I've known people who have found their significant other simply moving from a small town to a mediums-sized city. More people, more options. More desirable options, too. I might do the same thing soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 06:37 PM

What would be the best way to get there ?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 01:47 AM

Men need a goal. They cannot live for the sake of women. Women, however, do not need a goal to will. They can be content being the mother or husband to a strong man.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 01:44 AM

good point
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 01:22 AM

i think it's about validation also. They need it more.

The seduction community is aight although it's geered toward short-term stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 11:23 PM

Chubby chicks are very horny, typically. Why is that in your opinion ?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 11:20 PM

Ever noticed how one never gets nervous around people who are below you in the attractive hierarchy ?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 08:51 PM

I agree and often they are way too quick and eager to use it. It's just kind of strange how you sometimes manage to solve your own problems than a doctor can who has studied medicine for years. Still glad they exist but it's kind of strange
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 07:09 PM

As annoying reddit can be, I've found more helpful info on here than anywhere else in the internet. People here in their respective subs know their shit. One time, my back was hurting, I searched for a solution and people knew to recommended some shoes that would make alleviate the pain while walking. The psychology subs are also good
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 06:36 PM

Has anybody made friends here or via the internet in general ?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 12:51 AM

From my observation, very decent-looking guys who get attention from women, run into massive trouble down the road (both in their relationships and in life as well) if they have no interests ouside of women. Seeing women as the center of life is a big trap.

That's a whole debate in itself. Social media was probably a mistake. The couples I know that actually have good and long relationships almost never and sometimes actually never post photos of themselves on social media. So, that's telling.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 11:28 PM

Nothing about that is natural or normal.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 11:20 PM

Another one.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 11:05 PM

Many couples go on trips but they don't see the need to tell the world about it
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 09:20 PM

Everytime a couple posts a picture on social media for the world to see, it's a sign that things aren't going well behind the secenes. The photo is posted to get reassurement from yourself and from others because you know the stability isn't there.

To be honest, and that is a bit ironic, the less I cared, the more they liked it. Sex is a psychological experience for women for the most part, what matters is if you're better than her. The men who have to do 100 things to get her hot and what not are usually not that attractive. Since most men aren't, (some) women lament about this stuff as a proxy argument. But it's also a genuine expression of how I view it. I don't view it as a performance. It's a connection between two people. If the conn…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 09:55 PM

Well, fucking a good person doesn't carry much risks. If she gets pregnant on accident, who cares ? You'll raise a kid together. That's why LTR mogs.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 02:12 AM

The good thing about not engaging in casual sex is that it removes all the worries like std's, unwanted pregnancies, regrets etc. I know there are measures to reduce the emergence of those risks to a great degree but by not engaging in them at all, you completely remove them. Which is kind of cool. Peace of mind.

Being battle-tested is underrated. Theorizing is fun. But having survived many battles gives you that grounded, calm confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/26 07:57 PM

How do you deal with loneliness, especially as you get older ? It seems to me that the general trajectory is to start a family (which many people do to escape loneliness). If you don't follow the most common life paths that are available, it looks like you will be left out and the consequense will be loneliness. Am I wrong ?

It's more about the shape than anything else, let's be honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 12:54 AM

The whole conversation about men crying and showing vulnerability are always held at the surface level. You can cry as much as you want if you're cuter than her and if your life is in order. Nobody cares. You can be as stoic as you want, nobody cares if she's cuter and more competent than the man The relationship will not work out, no matter how stoic you appear to be. People don't want to get this, it seems, deliberately keeping the conversation within the superficial, symbolic framework.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 12:50 AM

Women are strongly repelled by indecisiveness in whatever shape or form. They really don't like that shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 12:33 AM

I do feel like all those perks make us more a-social though. Think about it. If it didn't exist, you'd be forced to make friends in real life, to flirt with people, to talk, to socialize. If you know you can fall back on social media, you won't do it in real life. Well not everybody of course. But my psyche (maybe related to ADHD) does work like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 08:13 PM

I know people who met people on there who became good friends after that. (I personally haven't). I kind of fear on missing out on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 08:08 PM

I actually mean older people. Like 25,30,35 etc. What's the benefit of this age group being on facebook ? I've always thought it was about being able to stay in contact with people but you never are in contact with them anyway. I feel like it would better to delete everything, fill your real life with meaning - and then in old age maybe create a new account and see what's what and who's what.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 08:03 PM
1

Interesting distinction. Do you think it'd be a good idea for younger people to delete it so they can focus on life - and when they get old go back to it ? Because I do feel you waste so much time on it as a young person and you're not really getting anything out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 07:54 PM

What about the utility of facebook (informative groups for example or not losing potentially interesting people) ?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 07:39 PM

Do you feel like social media made the world better or worse and why ?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 07:34 PM

Autism and charisma - how does that go together though ?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 10:13 PM

I have rarely seen a guy I would find handsome but didn’t have any noticeable muscle. Johnny Depp would be an example
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 09:44 PM

Well I think being hot without social skills gets you largely expelled from the dating market too. Because a man who is incapable of creating allies, that man's family is fucked and women instinctively sense this
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 09:32 PM

I don't think that's true at all. Most men aren't even handsome. Most people general are kind of average.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 09:29 PM

What I'm talking about has nothing to do with gold digging. Even the men I know care about a woman being employed and not being a relentless spender.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 09:20 PM

There is a need because women need to make a choice before 35 and serious women want to choose a good man.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 09:19 PM

Hotness doesn't create stability. Plus, a beautiful face is more important than something everybody can train. You can't train your face. The humorous slogan "No gym for your face" describes this phenomena surprisingly well.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 09:04 PM

True that.If you're talking physicality, they care more about face and height. No dumb woman gives a shit whether you have big muscles or no because it's the face and your height that is directly hereditary lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 08:45 PM

Women care more about money/drive than muscles. Way more.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 08:01 PM

It's more about wanting to influencing the world and wanting to be remembered for something. It's more satisfying to be Alexander the Great than Casanova
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 08:55 PM

It's true. Men who are obsessed with it, haven't experienced it much. Men who have have greater visions for themselves
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 08:51 PM

It really isn't. But a guy who's never experienced it will be obsessed with it, of course
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 08:47 PM

Hot take: Being respected by men is more satisfying and useful than getting validation from women. The latter isn't worth much.

Dating apps are retarded - even if you get good results. It's a sign of being a passive and asocial, lets be honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 08:10 PM

Put it like this, it's not enough. Relationships are value exchanges and if the exchange is satisfactory for both , you can still have a long, sometimes life-long relationship.

The perks of strength training is that the path to it is more linear and the progress is always visible when you look at yourself. It is also felt in whatever you do during the day.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 02:35 AM

Probably everything. Men want to achieve shit. And the path to increasing strength is well studied so it's easy to follow if one is disciplined.

I have this sudden urge to be/get jacked. You only have your 20's and 30's to do that without the help of enhancing drugs. I just wonder whether it'll feel hollow afterwards. According to Socrates it is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Thought on age gap relationships ? I feel like 0-4 age difference is ideal (research seems to support this). 5-8 is okay. 10 is already a bit too much imo for a LTR that's supposed to last a lifetime.

Titanic is not a romantic movie. It's gynocentric supremacy. A young, poor guy sacrifices his life for some rich, rebellious hoe he met a few days ago who uses his working class vitality to reconstruct her ego. After he's fulfilled his purpose, he gets thrown away, literally. Remember, women all over the world consider this "romantic".
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 08:26 PM

Yes, very true. Women in their early 20's or late 30's (divorced) are also the most open to casual encounters. The only problem is that my ultimate preference is women my age or a few years younger.

We need to stop romanticizing introversion. The introvert is at a massive disadvantage in life if he he doesn't make an effort to go out there and make things happen. People open doors. The whole world is about relationships.

It's no secret why blue-collar guys tend to have hotter partners and more sexual experience. But they also have dumber partners. I find uneducated women very annoying even if they're hot. I used to shit on CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) but I do think it's useful. Just because it's easy to understand, doesn't mean that it's easy to do. Men are not supposed to fall in love. Women are. Man must fall in love with God and woman must fall in love with (her) man. If man falls in love with his wife, his wife starts falling out of love with him. That's why women dislike romantic men. They know they're not safe. A romantic man is not a man you can trust. His psychological structure is impaired.

Women usually don't get into LTR's with men who are of lower status than themselves and if they do, they break up with them at some point. 'Status' is usually a combinbation of things and it also encompasses (overall life) competence. If he is 'broke' but he shows signs of competence (verbal fluency, health) he still has status. Because that is status. Status doesn't mean having a shiny car or other bs. Women don't want to be with men who have overall less life competence than themselves, it's a…

The more times goes on, the less I am impressed by beauty, more specifically beautiful women.Enriching the world with what I have to offer seems like a more exciting challenge now. If you find a woman with a good character, who goes out of her way to make your life better but she's not the hottest (just okay), seize the opportunity because it might not come again. For some reason, I can't imagine Leo Di Caprio ever having intense, passionate sex with a woman. Maybe it's the whole "I'm an international superstar, I don't need to perform in the bedroom. My life itself is a performance, it speaks for itself" kind of thing. But even if we brush that aspect aside, he just doesn't seem like the type. I feel like Di Caprio has only ever had cordial and polite intercourse. For instance, you can imagine Jason Momoa giving it to his girlfriend but not Di Caprio.

Relationships are value exchanges. If the value exchange moves out of balance, i.e. if one person gives way more than they receive, said person will end the relationship, be it a friendship or a romantic relationship. Loyalty therefore, more often than not, is a deliberate cost-benefit analysis. In the romantic realm, the person who believes it's worth starting over, will do so - if the cost-benefit-analysis (based on their own market value) makes sense. Even kings and princes would care about having a reasonably educated wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 12:30 AM

Nah, it's called assortative mating/matching. Even kings and princes would care about having a reasonably educated wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 12:25 AM

Yeah but his long-term relationships are a mess and his dating pool will also be much more narrow. Many men don't consider that preferable. Because high quality women have access to attractive men who also are doing something with their lives instead of a man who's just attractive and nothing else.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 12:19 AM

I feel like women are pretty lax about a man's occupation. They don't care much about a man being "hugely succesful". Sometimes, they're even put off by it. But if you have no occupation at all and just lie around all day, you're toast. So, they care about a man, having a baseline of competence in a reasonable job. But anything beyond that isn't going to get you lusted over.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 12:07 AM

I don't know anybody who has 25 close friends..

Liberal women are more feminine and more enjoyable than conservative women. Very conservative women are a turn-off.

It's kind of interesting how too much muscles (for men) and big boobs (for women) is considered low class or at least associated with it.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:50 AM

I agree but men are less likely to obsess over that stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 04:47 PM

Men really need to stay away from women who over-identify with being "spritual". They're usually nuts and ironically very egotistical.

Women who are in your vicinity will make it known to you if they find you attractive. They might not flat-out hit on you..but if they find you attractive, you will know. A glance..a smile.. you will know.

Only 25 percent of men over 30 are single. This suggests that if a man in that age bracket is single, he's in the minority. I'm sure this adds to the self-perception of something being wrong with you. And honestly...there might be. The solution then is to sort yourself and the issues you have out.

People need to stop using youtube, instagram, tik tok and the internet in general as "evidence". Get out the house and see for yourself. As for this chick, why do I feel these women who spew black and white non-sense like this look and talk all in the same way ? Hate to be prejudiced but it's like you can somewhat estimate someone's intelligence based off gesticulation and countenance

I do feel like it's also because people give less value to looks as they older. As a guy I'll always be attracted to visuals even I have noticed that it's becoming less and less important for me, as long as there is a minimal level of attraction. It also depends what girls these "loser" guys are going for. They'll do better with younger girls who are looking for "fun" instead of relationships. That's the spot I'm currently in. A lot of women my age are taken or more educated than me, at least on…

Isn't this only true for younger guys ? I don't see men in their thirties or even late twenties being losers on paper and being popular with women. Especially knowing that college-educated women are attracted to equally educated (or better educated) than men. There's also the question of children that comes into play once you enter your thirties and stability makes a man attractive.

It still looks okay. Kind of like Henry Cavill's recession. I think you're talking about Neil Strauss. The guy had status which accounts for most of his success. This idea that Neil was a lady's man isn't accurate. Strip away his status and he doesn't get any action or barely. I would still love a take on how the two presented opposing ideas would effect an outcome though

A 30 year old is not an ancient guy. But it becomes increasingly more difficult after 30 but especially after 35. Also, sex and a good time is worth a lot to women, these days. The reason for this is simply that most male actors havent built their brand yet so they become more noticable and known to the general public.

Mid thirties is usually the cut-off point. And 10 years age difference, too. Although I wouldn't say one can "easily" date women that are ten years younger. Most still prefer still prefer guys their age or a handful of years older but generally speaking not ten. Surely you can date in your forties but you're mostly out of the game for young, beautiful women, that's what I meant to say. Oh my. I made this mistake once. We were in bed, she was really horny and she even mentioned to me that she's in for a "warm-up". I moved my hand down her vagina but eventually didn't finger her. And even after the sex she's like "so.. you're not really a fan of hand play, are you..". She gave me two very, very obvious hints. I didn't finger her not because I didn't want to. I did. I didn't do it because I wasn't experienced with it so I didn't want to appear clumsy.

The problem is what you and most people in this phere are doing is, pick extreme examples to make a point. The point I'm trying to really convey is that the ultimate goal shouldn't just be to chase women, but to become a man that's at peace with himself, and exudes strength. Well said. I think this - once again - comes from some misinformation online. I see. Do you mean the whole hyperfocus on "game" ? I would certainly agree with that. If you don't have a job or a social circle, it's not game you should prioritize and you probably shouldn't waste your time doing pickup. Unfortunately I think a lot of seduction coaches are responsible for touting this bs for obvious monetary reasons. I've never seen a smart and beautiful girl be with a guy for more than a couple of dates who sits around all day but stays with him because he has amazing "game"…

You're right in a sense that self-esteem and confidence are internal beliefs. Beliefs are formed by experience and positive feedback. How well you feel usually has is somewhat tied to how you're doing in life. The answer is not to fix your "inner game" but to work these deficits so you can gain confidence. If somebody is jobless and sits around all day, he doesn't need to "fix his inner game", he needs to ge a job and be productive. Nobody feels good sitting around all day. And yes it's true tha…

This is a good point for debate because I constantly think about what leads to self-esteem so let's get into this. Where does confidence, non-neediness, calmness come from ? Well said. It's really strange isn't it ? How exuding that you only do things because you want to hookup repells women despite life being about reproduction in some sense. I sometimes struggle with this as I feel like most things people (but especially men) do are to gain access to sex. I think it's the reason why people socialize in the first place. You never know what's going through people. There were times I didn't text women for weeks and months and not because I was not interested. I often take days to reply. To friends and to women. Generally speaking though women are better at this so if they don't respond for a reall long time, then something's probably up. Maybe she's not interested in you or maybe she's not meeting anbody at all. These women exist. They're more into the validation game.
/r/seduction01/08/21 11:07 PM

I've came to accept this a while ago. Some level of aloofness is necessary. Not in a disrespectul or player type of way bt in a grounded type of way. This is especiall true for on online dating when you haven't met those women yet. After getting the number, don't just ask straight for the date but keep bantering a little bit and then elegantly and patiently steer the direction towards meeting up. Never aggressively.

But to your point, yes for long term relationships I'more interested in somebody around my age or minus 5 years or so. For short term I'd be open for women in their early twenties.
/r/seduction21/07/21 04:14 PM

This absolutely correct. The more experience I've gotton, the more I realized how wrong a lot of "experts" are. I text as well and not just for logistics and no this is not the end of the world. Take care of your looks, get a job and some hobbies and friends and put yourself in an environment that is frequented by women. That#s it.
/r/seduction21/07/21 03:56 PM

Game is bs in the sense that you can't turn a woman on that doesn't already like you. Physical attractiveness and shared interests are more important.

Height, jaw, nice eyes and being eloquent and playful comes pretty close though.

I agree. I'm actually looking for longer term sexual relationships and not hookups. In your experience, do the highs fade away even in a relationship ? Well, I guess the irony is that if a man really focuses on getting on women, women sense that and it often doesn't workout. Seemingly, you need to have more shit going on. And at the same time, only focusing on yourself and not going actively for women won't get you anywhere either. I wonder what the middleground might be. I guess at least put …

Nice. I think having a full head of hair makes a huge difference.
/r/seduction21/07/21 12:01 PM
2

This is what I fear. But at the same time I wonder if I will miss out. The reason why I focus on it is because I know that I'm at an age where it's still possible. I also worry that if I don't do it, I will always "be in my system" and I can't move on to other endeavors.
/r/seduction21/07/21 11:57 AM

well, 32 and 26 is still viable for long term. Also, men at 32 can still be very attractive but onc you hit your mid thirties, it becomes difficult. How did the encounter happen with the 22 year old, did she find it that odd that you were hitting on her ?
/r/seduction21/07/21 11:46 AM

There is a cutoff point where you're still attractive to young women though and I'm wondering when that is. I believe it's your mid thirties at the very latest.

Women are attracted to good looks but they're also attracted to "being good at Life Very true. I realized this when I wasn't particular "good at life". However I would argue, it needs to be a combination between being physically attractive and being good at life. If you're good at life but lack in attractiveness, you're still not getting any.
/r/seduction21/07/21 11:07 AM
1

You really can't. I guess sleep and nutrition may help ? You think we can drag it until let's say 33 or 34 ? Do you think balding plays a vital role ? I definitely believe so. Interesting. In Europe there's a program called "Erasmus". It's students going abroad for a semester. It creates kind of a "what happens here, stays here" mentality among women. Never did that but I'm kind of mad that I didn't lol. I don't think there are better conditions.
/r/seduction21/07/21 11:04 AM

Thanks for your insight. My appearance hasn't significantly changed in the last 5 years but I suspect that it will after hitting 30 which I'm slightly worried about. How has your experience been with that ? As of now, I don't do cold approaches. I realized that by having a social circle you get acess to a lot women fast and that's what I'm trying to tackle. But of course, there is still the age difference. Almost verybody will be younger than me. Very true, I can't help my attraction and I'm not…

This is not difficult to achieve though honestly. Basic social skills will get you there.

I'm saying that the discrepancy shouldn't be huge. Why did I dwindle their hope though ? I know a lot of average looking guys who are in relationships
/r/seduction16/07/21 09:03 PM
2

Basic conversation skills means being an emotionally healthy person who ha socialized enough that he is aware of social cues. This is a prerequisite for all human interactions. Also : Women who feel that you are a catch to her are not going to "test" you significantly. People in manosphere communities define alpha as some weird, hyper-dominant behavior that magically is going to turn her on. Which it is not. No amount of "alpha" behavior is going to do that. Also, on the issue of looks : Height …

I think values are a good point. Can you make some examples on the impact of them in a relationship ? On the age thing : Outliers exist of course. And you seem to be very self-aware in knowing why you were attracted to your husband. I get the maturity thing, I think this is why women usually don't like to date below their age as it causes discrepancies in communication.
/r/seduction15/07/21 11:59 PM

I think these people are compensating for something. I honestly don't think reasonable people believe that having a yacht will make you happy. Friends, hobbys and enough to support oneself, one's hobbies and their loved ones. There are also studies that show that money brings happiness if it lifts someone out of poverty. This is why people's happiness seems to rise up to 70k a year and after that not anymore.
/r/seduction28/06/21 07:05 PM

A yacht is not a source of happiness and it never will be Having enough money to buy clothes, food and pursue hobbies and realize your ambitions is a source of happiness.
/r/seduction28/06/21 06:22 PM

I don't think that's worrysome because most people won't have access to tons of money and many attractive women.

There's numerous studys that dispute exactly that.
/r/seduction28/06/21 05:18 PM

"A healthy man in his 50s can get women half his age." Absolutely not. No young, semi-attractive woman who doesn't have major psychological issues would be with a 50 year old. I think this major coping.
/r/seduction17/05/21 07:08 PM
2

Exactly. "You don't need women in abundance in your life to have an "Abundance Mindset". It certainly helps, but not necessary." Can you ? This always looks like coping to me. I don't think I've met a happy guy who has been single for an extended period of time without being with a woman. I'll be interested in how one ought to create that woman-independant abundance you are talking about. Hobbies, friends ? ""Scarcity Mindset" means you gonna accept any shit behavior, because you're too scarred …
/r/seduction17/05/21 02:00 PM

Yeah being abundant around girls your age is not that hard, especially when you're 30. But this is only the case because women who are 30 suddenly start realizing that they're running out of options and time. By older they usually mean 5+ maximum. There's always outliers generally speaking couples who are of similar age tend to be the most succesful ones.

care to elaborate ? I think it has decent ideas but obviously flawed.
/r/seduction23/04/21 09:43 AM
1

See, this is what I consider a good approach and more realistic than the idea of being 100% upfront about everything. Intrigue is very imporant, especially on first dates. Since you mentioned the importance of intrigue and having your agenda- how would you handle the situation if you were Jack - if you were getting asked all these concrete questions about your education and everything else ?
/r/seduction23/04/21 09:42 AM
1

Honestly, I agree. Out of curiosity : How would handle it if you were Jack ? Let's say you knew you were getting asked all these concrete questions about what you have done in the past few years and whether you managed to finish your degree or not, knowing that you haven't and had other demons to battle.
/r/seduction23/04/21 09:37 AM
1

Do you think that's a fair comparison though ? Most guys are content with a girl who's decently attractive and has a likable personality. Men are also more forgiving on mental health issues on women. Men on the other hand know that women are attracted to men with the same status or higher. Men are also judged harshly on anything that indicates mental health problems. I think this makes it so hard for men to be "completely" authentic even if they want to.

Truly inspiring. We all can learn from George.

This is my experience as well. People of a similiar level of attractiveness end up together which is detrimental to the idea of the whole af/bb thing. I think a lot of people also think people are banging each other 24/7 in college which is not the case. Also so called "chad-like" behavior would get laughed at in real life.

Confidence as in verbal intelligence, wit, humor, assertion and basic knowledge on how to flirt is attractive. Game as in overly complicated psycho mind games, negging and other odd techniques are not sustainable.

It's not an unsupported point of view, it's how everybody in the real world thinks and lives. And once again you are providing me with things you see on the internet. No sane women yearn for serial killers or some narcisstic man baby like Trump. No women that I interact with do this. I feel like there seems to be a huge difference between university-educated women (and people) in general and different demographics. I think the reason why people experience and observe different viewpoints because…

You were talking about dating a 30 year old younger attractive woman who is in love with you and you are raging in the thread. Let me tell yourself something, With all due respect, you are deluding yourself if you think an emotionally healthy woman will be in "love" with a 30 year older man. This does not happen. But you do you, man. But I really hope people don't believe stuff like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 11:32 AM

Interesting, what makes you think so ? I'm curious. I have the opposite impression. In my experience unemployed people have less money for social activities. They also have more shame causing them to withdraw as they have nothing to talk about in conversations as being employed is usually considered a vital part of a person. Whereas an employed person of course works most of their time but when they socialize, they do so more eagerly. They also interact with more people during the day. They also…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 10:43 AM

Well there you have it. They have social lives. Keep in mind though that unemployment more often than not reduces social opportunities. On top of that it can lead to low self-esteem which then again may reflect a man's charisma. Of course even then it's possible. Anything is possible. I've had sex when I was unemployed. But loads of it ? Rather not.

" Do I give two shits about a male body attached to a penis? Nope. Dildos handle that. Company? I have women for that. What do you offer?? Finances matter more in your thirties (in your forties even more) than they matter in your twenties. That is correct. Status as in social status still matters in your twenties, as in having friends, being social and being part of activities. Having some level of access to money is still not completely unimportant in your twenties as it widens your possibilities to be part of fun activities. Also I would argue education (which is a form of status in itself) may matter more than raw money. People …

Why are you stating that confidence is attractive though as some type of antidote to what I said ? Everybody knows confidence is attractive and I have not disputed this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 07:30 AM

You are providing me with an internet article as evidence. Anectodal on top of that. This is exactly what I'm talking about, dude. We know so little about the dynamics within that incident. How attractive were the women, how educated, how mentally well ? And so on and so on. I can tell you one thing though " Two of the women tattooed the inmate's name on their bodies" No mentally well person does this. Stories like these do not apply to regular people and offer no credible conclusions.

Physical attractiveness is important, I agree with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 05:15 AM

Well, I do think romantic love is hollywood bs. "Love"is a word we've invented as we're concept seeking creatures and we need words to describe complicated concepts for the purpose of simplicity. I think what love means is heavy compatibility. This is why "love" often happens where there is : Similiar level of phyiscal attractiveness, intelligence, age and having similar interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 05:13 AM
5

This is a very good point. Hollywood does a piss poor job on showing how social dynamics work. I remember being very young and trying to emulate James Bond/Hank Moody type of figures and realizing later on how embarassing that type of behavior is in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 05:04 AM

Well, if you're very tall in your area, this may be it. Some, especially very short women, get off of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 04:25 AM
2

Well, the engineer example I agree with. I do think a lot of people automatically equate "Guy has money/status= beta bux. If he didn't, the girl wouldn't be with him". And I think that's a false dichtonomy. How would you define character ?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 04:24 AM
2

How are we disagreeing here ? Famous people, musicians and athletes have always been attractive. Publicly acknowledged status is an attraction booster. We're not talking about famous people. An uneducated drug dealer won't get with an attractive college-educated woman because of too much friction and disparity in demographics. He may be popular with a woman within his demographic.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 04:00 AM

The only way of this happening is if you're really hot and she's way below your looks level so you're special and a big win in her eyes. But most men don't want women way below their looks level because that would mean the women aren't attractive. They want women they find at least slightly attractive. And for those you need to have more going on than your looks since they often do, too.

" She is going for casual sex, and when that is what she is looking for, the alpha who is hot but has nothing else going on is exactly what she will be fine with. " Again, this does not happen. Even in a friends with benefits type situation you need things to talk about. In order to have things to talk about, you need to do interesting or valuable things. Most time spent together is not having sex, it's spent conversing and doing stuff. In order to have things to talk about, you need to have som…

Also : I never said that "game" (I don't even like that term honestly) will you make you super attractive. I actually think that dating coaches blow the value of game way out of proportion for obvious reasons that benefit them. I'm talking about how compatiblity creates attraction ( girl with high verbal skills will fall for a guy with high verbal skills and not some roided out airhead). Of course, having some level of physical of attraction will always help.

" 6'3 Chad can literally order random female strangers to his place to fuck through dating apps." No, he can't. I never see this happen, nor does anybody whom I know. Again, this is what I mean when I say people socialize too little or have too little awareness, I'm not trying to insult anybody when I say this. So called "Chad fish experiments" are useless because people doing them don't follow through. Also, sexting or getting nice reactions in a chat does not equal meeting up and having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 02:06 AM

I may be responding more to the black pill community with that one. If I recall correctly though, according to TRP, women fuck so called alphas in their twenties even if they have nothing going on for them or are not compatible with each other in other areas, neglecting the things I mentioned in my op such as the relative nature of attractiveness and compatibility.

Thanks for sharing. Before I've been with a girl for the first time, sex was really important to me. I wanted to know what it's like. Maybe even just to confirm to myself that I can do it and that I'm not a weirdo, I don't know. I think a lot of people feel like this. So I can empathize with you very well. And there are still many things I want to experience with regards to intimacy. I do wonder if it's actually necessary though to feel complete . I wish it weren't but I have my doubts. Also agr…

This why I don't really get when people make claims like those in my op. I really wonder if I'm missing something. I guess the only thing I see that could work against you is that one may adapt a certain "pleaser mindset". As in feeling like you have to prove yourself or achieve things to get a girl, thus adapting a submissive attitude. For example going into a career which you think will be attractive to women or choosing a well-paying job over a fulfilling job for a similar reason. But still, …

Aren't they though ? As I mentioned before, the urge for sex and intimacy can be overwhelming. I realize it again and again -anytime I've convinced myself that I've found a deeper truth (often achieved through meditation) - at some point my instinct to reproduce aka my sex drive tends to kick in.

So it's actually not possible to feel confident without achievements or at least just as confident as other people or more confident.. So much for the bs psychology self-help stuff la "real self-esteem is based on who we are" and "contigent self-esteem is conditional and based on what we do". I never understood that saying. Because when following your gut leads you to where you want to be.. Doing what you truly want to do and willing to do more will yield you far better rewards than slowing yourself down to accommodate some status quo. /r/seduction11/08/20 08:18 PM

" Honestly yes. I'm a virgin, yet I still feel sexual reproduction affects most of my decision making more so than the achievement and consumption. " Can you make some examples ? Would be interested in knowing what it's like for other people.
/r/seduction11/08/20 07:55 PM
2

Can you elaborate on the notion of "value" ? What if you don't actually bring "value" to the table on an objective scale (looks, status, social circle). Myself as an example. I'm fine with looks but I'm 28 and haven't done anything in life yet while most of my peers ( girls and guys) are finishing their degrees. Feelings of inferiority occur, precisely because I know I am inferior in those regards. Confidence comes from competence and achievements at the end of the day.
/r/seduction03/08/20 04:18 PM

I'd be really interested in an example of that balance. It's something I find hard to create. Also, when you say "Sex shouldn't be an endgame and you shouldn't plan your life around it" - what if you're conscious of it actually being an endgame ? Responding to the second paragraph of your post : I'll give you an example that I've listed in my op. I currently want to do some volunteering. I think it would help me a lot. /r/seduction03/08/20 03:10 PM

So how do you reconcile this with what you actually want to do in life ? Is there such a thing as intrinsic motivation or does it all come back to mating again ? Is the conscious effort with sex as the end game in mind and making life decisions based on that idea actually counter-productive ? Aren't women much more willing to follow you if they realize you're just doing whatever you want to do ?
/r/seduction03/08/20 03:08 PM

Video games are fun. They also simulate achievements. One could argue that achievements in real life are made to foster sexual opportunity. Achievements in video games could simulate a similar feeling. My point is though that the reason you make something out of yourself is that you know that if you didn't - mating wouldn't be possible in the long term.
/r/seduction03/08/20 03:04 PM

What if doing what I want minimizes my mating choices ? Is there even such a thing as "intrinsic" motivation ? Doesn't it come back to mating in the end ? And how do I recognize my "gut" ? How do I differentiate between gut and other 'voices/instincts' ? I honestly don't know when my gut is speaking to me. And thank you the response. I will message you when I get to it.

I think about this often. Gratitude as a way of positive mental health. But anytime I came to the conclusion that tomorrow isn't garantueed and being alive every moment is a miracle in itself, another argument pops up in my head as to why the first argument doesn't seem to have that much of an effect. Because tomorrow isn't garantueed but how likely are those tragic incidents to occur in a first world country ? I think really not likely. So in terms of probability "tomorrow" seems likely. So one…

I've thought about this a lot. This sort of self sufficiency is a common theme here and while it sounds badass, I don't consider it realistic. It's also contradictory to some extend in my opinion. If you loved yourself you would consider yourself worthy of being with somebody else despite being flawed. It's human nature wanting to bond and wanting to be loved. If you always wait before to get with somebody you'll end up waiting a long time. It also neglects the notion that having a partner can b…
