a wingman/woman should help you DHV, and pull distractions so you can isolate. It should be clear that you are leading the conversation, and they should be chiming in to reinforce your status as alpha.

the perfect wingman is hardly there. his greatest talent is in pulling away obstacles. think of a real live air force wingman - he's not sitting there shooting the same guy, helping you "kill him faster." that's straight retarded. he's blocking/taking down the other enemies so that you can focus on yours without any hazards.

Having a wingwoman is AWESOME. Especially if she is hotter than the girls she brings you. I have a female friend who is super hot and very taken but loves winging for me when we go out, and she's awesome at it.

From my experience, the most successful technique for a wing woman is:

she either knows the types of girls you like, and "freelances", or you surreptitiously point out a target.
at the places I go to, most girls are in groups of 2-3 people. By far the best configuration is your target with a guy and a girl who are dating. Second best is your target with a guy she is not dating.
your wingwoman opens the set. My wing's favorite technique is that we sit at a table, slightly spread out to discourage others from sitting there, and then when she sees a group of hotties of my type, she just waves them down like "hey guys come sit with us!!" and then she tells the girl most likely to be my target to sit next to me. She also can just lead into a set, with a typical "hey guys how's it going?"
you both get the initial read on the set, hopefully confirming your target selection. You both mix it up with the set, she should be initially engaging your target and you engage the rest of the set.
if opportune, she injects DHV about you. She needs to be good at this so it doesn't come off as bragging or gushing, but if she's hot it almost doesn't matter what she says as long as it's that you're awesome.
you engage with your target, she talks to the rest of the group.
if the set needs to leave, but things are going well, one money move she can use is to directly say to the target "no you should stay with us!" with a sly look. If your target stays, you are 100% in.
